It didn't take long at all for Grace Dursley to become not only a part of the Potter family but the Weasley's as well. She was an amazing little girl with a heart of gold and better manners than most children her age. Harry and Ginny were happy to have her with them, as was everyone else. Harry was also happy to see that she was starting to adjust to magic, which she had previously believed to be made up. She found it all very fascinating, reminding Harry of himself when he was first introduced to this world.

Although life at home was great, there was still the looming threat of the war that was sure to come.

The rest of June passed by without much news, which Harry took as a somewhat good sign. No news was better than bad news, after all. There was the occasional article in the Daily Prophet about a mysterious death, mostly muggle-related, but other than that, things had been quiet. But this didn't stop the order from holding frequent meetings where they discussed things they had learned and made plans for when the time came for them to fight. Work at the ministry had also intensified, and Harry found himself coming home exhausted. It was rare that he got a day to relax.

It was now the beginning of July, and for the first time in a long time, Harry found himself alone with his wife. A rare luxury these days. It was all thanks to Sirius and Remus, who had offered to take the children to Diagon Alley for the day. At first, Harry and Ginny had been reluctant to let the children out of their sight, but in the end they had agreed. They knew the children were safe with the ex-marauders. Besides, Tonks would be there too, and she was a fully trained auror.

"It's so quiet." Ginny mumbled into Harry's bare chest, her fingers tracing over one of his many scars. "Too quiet." It had been only an hour since the children had left, but it had been the quietest hour they had had in a long time. They had hardly left the bed all morning.

"Mhm." Harry agreed as he pulled his wife closer. "Nice, isn't it?" He loved his children; he really did, but the house was like a zoo most days. It was nice to be able to relax for once.

"Whatever should we do?" Ginny asked suggestively.

Harry grinned as he pulled his wife on top of him. "I have a few ideas." He said, kissing her passionately on the lips. Before they knew it, they became so caught up in the moment that they didn't hear the little footsteps running down the hall.

Just then, the bedroom door flung open, and James barged in, startling Harry and Ginny and causing them to jump apart as they both rushed to cover themselves with the sheets. "MUM, DAD, GUESS WHAT!" His eyes went wide at what he saw. "What are you guys doing?"

"We...uh..." Harry spluttered. "Your mum and I were just..."

"Wrestling?" James asked innocently.

"Exactly," Harry said without thinking.

James frowned. "But why don't you have clothes on?"

Harry felt the heat rising in his cheeks. He turned to face his wife, hoping that she would take over, but it appeared that she was at just as much of a loss as he was. "Well..." he began. "That is an excellent question, bud. How about you come back and ask us that in a few years? Or, you know, several years."

"Why don't you guys tell me anything?" James huffed in annoyance. "I'm not a baby, you know." He then turned around and stomped out of the room, leaving his very embarrassed parents behind.

"Well, that was...awkward." Harry said.

Ginny nodded in agreement. "Almost as awkward as the time I walked in on my parents."

Harry winced. It was times like this that he was almost grateful for the poor relationship he had with his aunt and uncle. At least he never had to witness that.

Sirius, Remus, and Tonks sat at the kitchen table, along with Ron and Hermione. Teddy sat in between his parents while Grace sat on Tonks's left. Lily sat in Remus's lap, her fingers and face covered in jam from the scone in her hands, while Al sat in Sirius's lap. Hermione held Hugo, while Ron held Rose. The adults all stared down at the daily prophet in the middle of the table, knowing Harry wasn't going to be happy.
