Behind Closed Doors (Part 8)

I didn't like it but we played by Maddie's rules. I had her home when she wanted to go and I came and got her when she wanted me to. I knew that she was trying to be save, so her father wouldn't hit her. If I had my way she wouldn't be there for him to even touch.

It had been a couple of weeks and we were still talking about her moving in after her birthday. She was scared her dad would come for her. Over my fucking dead body.

It was Wednesday night I had just got home from work. I pick up the phone dialing Maddie's number. I am hopeful she will want to sneak out tonight. It rings only once and she answers.

"Hey" she says and I hear it in her voice something is wrong.

"Hey, everything alright" I ask

"Would you come get me please" she ask.

"I'm on my way" I tell her.

Hanging up I head for my car, anger seeps through my very core at the thoughts that run through my head. That son of a bitch, I'll fucking kill him.

As I turn down Maddie's road I slow coming to a stop before I get right on top of her house. She told me before not to pull into the driveway and it was a smart move really. I see Maddie as she runs toward the car. She slides in, her body is shaking and I hear her cry. I don't say anything not yet. Driving to the little side road she showed me before I pull the car over onto a clear area and parked it. We sit in silence for awhile the sound of her crys the only thing heard.

"You wanna tell me what happened" I ask trying my best not to show my anger. 

She climbs over into my lap and I feel her body trembling my arms go around her as I try to calm myself and her.

"Tell me what happened baby" I tell her in the calmest voice I could master

"He raped me" it's a wishper but I hear her my body tense up as I hold my breath to keep from shouting and cussing. I tighten my arms around her as she repeated the same thing again. "Please don't leave me" she says

I sallow back all the rage inside of me before I say the next thing "I'm not going anywhere baby" I tell her

My head falls against the seat "I don't wanna go back to that house I cant" she tells me

"Ok baby you don't have to" I kiss her head "you'll need to get a uniform for school" I tell her she nods. "I'll be right outside ok"

She nods again getting over into her seat she looks out the window as we head to her house to get her things. I sit and watched as she went across the street and into her house. When I see a light come on I make my way toward her house.

"Get your ass back in that room" I hear a gruff voice

I don't even think about it as I step into the house a big buckle man stands towing over Maddie. They both look over at me.

"Maddie go get in the car now" I tell her

"Who the fuck you think you are" her dad ask reachout to grab Maddie

My anger shows with ever word said "don't you fucking touch her, Maddie go now" I tell her She runs out the door

"I don't know who you are boy"

I don't let him finish I step forward "you come after her or call the cops you'll be the going to jail. Thank about it Mr. Jackson what they do to rapist behind bars" I tell him

His eyes widen "that little slut" he says hissing

I turn leaving him standing there. As I get into the car Maddie looks over at me.
