DAY 1

I was never popular in school, I was the quiet one. I made good grades not a straight A student but good enough to pass. I had friends but not close friends. I was bulled a lot in school, I wasn't the pretty girl with the model figure and I wasn't the one that everyone felt sorry for. I was me, plan and simple me. I was liked by most of my teachers and they would send me sometimes to do errands for them. So I wasn't surprised that Friday when Mrs. Plum stopped me on her way to her car, in a hurry.

"Tina" she calls to me

"Hey Mrs. Plum" I smile

"Could you do me a big favor" she ask

"Sure anything"

"I am kind of in a hurry and I need these papers took to the shredder. Would you be so kind to do it for me so I am not any later than I am"

"Yeah sure"

"Thank you sweetie, I owe you one big time" She hands me a stack of papers

"Its no problem" I take the papers and turn back to the big school building I had just came out of.

Being clumsy I bump into a wall of solid brick

"Hi Tina where you going" Mr. Heath ask eyes crossed

"Mrs. Plum asked me to shred these papers for her" I tell him

"Oh, ok" He moved letting me pass

"Sorry" I tell him

He smiles at me

"Oh you'll have to use the one in the basement the one in the teachers lounge is down"

I nod

"Thank you, sorry again"

"Its ok just watch where your going"

I smile and head toward the basement, I don't think I ever been in the basement before. As I open the door I hear shuffling indicating that some one was down here besides me. Maybe they will stay where ever they are. I look around the dim lite room as I make my way down, the door closing behind me.

Ok the shredder where is it at, I think to myself looking around the space.

"Tell me you did not close that fucking door" I hear a gruff voice

I swallow

"Will om technically it closed on its on" I say turning toward the voice

The light is so dim that I can't see the other person.

"Fuck" he cusses "Do you realize what you did girl"

I hear foot steps coming toward me and I start backing away. As he gets closer to me I see that his hair is dirty blond, his tall, and has a body built like an athlete. I know him, I can't remember his name.

"I asked you do you know what you just did" he asked again

I shake my head, my lips tremble, I haven't a clue what he will do to me.

"You just locked us in the fucking basement"

Again I shake my head, and I see his smile that don't reach his eyes.

"Oh yes you did" he hisses

I looked up at the door.

"I...your mistaking" I tell him my voice barely above a whisper

I start toward the steps that I just came down from not so long ago. I feel as he follows me up them, grabbing the knob I twist it.

"See" I tell him jerking the door but it doesn't open

"Yeah I see that its locked" he says right behind me

Putting both hands on the door knob I start shaking it, I hear him laugh at my failed attempt.

"It doesn't work honey, the lock is broke that is way they moved everything upstairs" he tells me

"But you where down here before me" I turn into him

Meeting his solid chest, my eyes are quick to find his.

"Yeah but it wasn't closed all the way, I am not dumb enough to close it all the way"

His hazel eyes look down into my blue ones

"So one will find us" I tell him

And there's that smile again that don't quite his eyes.

"No sweetheart they want, we are the only ones left in this building. Look at the time" He shows me his phone

"You can call some one to come get us out"

"We don't get service down here"

"I didn't know" I whisper

"Will now you do" he turns going back down

I follow behind him, not watching where I am going I run right into him as he stops all the sudden.

"What the fuck" he turns to me

"Sorry"

He shakes his head

"What are you doing down here anyways"

"Shredding papers for one of the teachers, the one upstairs is out. Why are you down here"

"Non of your business"

"You're rude, I told you why I was down here"

"I was smoking"

"Don't you know that smoking isn't allowed in school"

He smiles again

"Yeah, that's why I come in here because no one else does, except you"

"This was my first time coming down here"

He rolls his eyes at me, taking the papers I find where the shredder and start putting the paper in it.

"What are you doing" he asked

"What I was sent down here to do. So how are we going to get out" I asked him as I finish what I was doing

"We not, unless your folks will come looking for you"

I laugh

"I am suppose to be staying with a friend so they want worry"

"And your friend"

"I don't have one, I was going to stay at a hotel by my self"

"Something you do a lot"

"To get out of the house on week ends, yes"

I hear him laugh again

"What about you, your folks" I ask turning to him

"I am suppose to be heading out tonight right after school to a friends house so they will think I am there"

"So what about your friend" I ask

"There not expecting me so they want come looking"

"So we are stuck here all week end"

He  shrugs

"There is no reason to panic, we are suck here weather we like it or not"

He scratched his chin

"It's Tina right" he asked

"Yeah, and you are Nick"

He smiles

"That I am"

I set down on the bottom step

"What time do you have" I ask

"Its now four thirty"

I watch as he reaches into his pocket and pulls out a bag, he looks up at me than goes into the dark where I couldn't see him. I see though as he lights the joint and inhales it deeply.
