WEIRD THINGS

"Never stay out too late" my mother always told me "That's when all the weird things happen"

And I would always listen to her. Be the good girl, be home before the sun went down. In bed before nine o'clock. I called my mother every day to make sure she was alright and to see what she was doing.

That was before I moved to the little village called Rivervalley. I met my friend Stacy and started going out at night hanging out doing things that I wouldn't do back at home. I was living and loving it. Of course I wouldn't tell my mother that, I call her every day tell her what a good girl I had been. And my poor mother would believe every lie I told. No I didn't like lying to her but it was a small price I payed to have a little fun in life. But at that time I didn't know of the other price I would have to pay.

It was a Sunday night and Stacy and I where at a club called Zero. We was out on the dance floor doing our thing when I felt a tap on my shoulder I turn to met a solid wall of muscle. Looking up at the big guy that stood in front of me I thought to my self that he looked like Lurch on The Addams Family.

"Can I help you" I ask

"My boss wants to speak with you" he says in a dead tone

I smile

"Will you tell your boss if he wants to talk to me he can come over here himself and get me"

"Vary will" 

I turn back to the crowd

"What was that about" Stacy asked

"I don't know, said his boss wanted to speak with me"

"Will if that's his boss I say speak" she says looking pass me

I turn around and am greeted by a god. His hair is a dark brown and he wears it just a little long so that the front hangs in his eyes. His skin is pale and smooth, his eye oh his eyes a light blue color. I lost my well to talk as I drink all of him in.

"We need to speak alone" he says and just about milt 

I shake my head, get it together girl.

"Why" I ask hoping that my voice don't quiver

"Please come with me, we don't need to wast any more time" he doesn't smile or anything

"Ok" I look back at Stacy "Stac I have my phone if I need you"

"Ok have fun" she winks at me

I roll my eyes knowing full will what she mint, the fact was I never had fun as she put it. Turning back to the god I follow him toward the exit. The guy that look like Lurch was waiting for us his eyes find mine as I step out.

"What is this about" I ask

As Lurch falls behind me

"You are in danger Valentin" the god says

I look up at him

"How did you know my name"

"There's a lot about you that I know"

"What is your name" I asked

"My name is Strix, and the big guy behind you is Orion"

"Orion" I smile I guess its better than Lurch "How am I in danger"

He turns to me with a questioning look

"You don't know" he ask

"Know what"

"Who you are"

"Am Valentin that's who I am"

I see a ghost of a smile on his face
