"Hi my name is James and I am an alcoholic" a tall brown headed guy says

"Hi James" everyone else says together

"Its been two years since I had my last bottle, it gets a little easier every day" he says

"Thank you James" Dr. Ruth Hunter says

She was the one that put these meeting together and made sure that they went well. She was the reason I was hear setting in the back roll waiting my turn to speak.

"Anyone else" she ask

I guess that would be me, she had told me I didn't have to go up to the front I could just stand at my set. So when I stand with shaking hands she smiles.

"Yes" she addressees me

"My name is Samantha"

"Hello Samantha" everyone says

"Hi, and I am a drug addict, I have been clean for three weeks now"

"That's good" one of them says

"Samantha would you tell us what brought you here" Dr. Ruth says

"I overdosed on heroin and end up in the ER. It was my third time overdosing I decided I didn't want to go like that so here I am"

"Good for you" someone says

I set back down

"Alright is there anyone else that wants to shear with us tonight" Dr. Ruth ask "No one alright than" checking the clock then "I'll see you all back here same time hopefully more of you will be willing to open up" she says

They all start leaving, I make my way to her.

"Samantha think you for coming out tonight" she says as I get to her

"To tell the truth I almost didn't"

She smiles

"I know its a little hard to talk about, you are looking so much better though"

"Thank you"

"Dr. Ruth" I hear the deep voice behind me and it sends chills down my spin

I turn and its the guy that was up talking before me.

"James, this is Samantha" Dr. Ruth says

"I'm sorry am I interrupting" he ask

"No I was just leaving" she says

"My wife wanted a autograph if you don't mind" he says

"Of course not" taking a pin out she scribbles her name on the paper he hands her "There you are, I'll see you two tomorrow"

"Samantha right" he ask

"You can call me Sam" I tell him"

"Will Sam, you want me to walk you to your car"

I smile

"Sure, so for your wife huh"

"Will its actually for me, but don't tell her that. I don't want her to think I'm weird or anything"

"I wouldn't think that weird"

"No, you wouldn't think that its weird that I am in her group and asking for her autograph"

"Not at all, people do it a lot"

"Yeah, I guess you're right"

I smile

"So how long have you and your wife been married" I ask

He glaces at me

"We're not"
