Rachel had lived in the same building for five years now. There was never anything exciting going on around there. Her neighbors were very quiet and kept to themselves. On one side of her was the Jackson's. They had a little boy, Scott, who would play in the halls on Thursday and Friday only. In front of her was Mr. McNabb, he was a grumpy old man that stayed to himself most the times. Hardly ever came out the apartment. On the lift side of him was Steve and Mike Price. A nice couple that would stop and chat to her whenever they seen her out of the room. Then Betty was on the right of Mr.McNabb she was a college student and was in and out most nights. Besides them few she didn't know any of the other tenants there. The other room beside her had been left vacant for years that is until now.

She wakes as she hears a commission outside in the hallway. Grabbing her robe and slipping into some slippers she heads for the door. What on earth is happening out there.

"Morning Rachel" little Scott says from the floor in front of his door. His little fingers holding tight to the cars he play with. She smiles at the blonde headed boy, "you got new neighbors"

Turning to the other side of her, she sees a huge black piano blocking the door.
Two muscled men in gray jump suits at one end trying to push it into the door while she can hear another man on the other side of the door giving instructions.

"This isn't going fit" the one closest to her says

"Do you think we can get it back out" the one inside ask

"Mr. Kingston isn't going like this" the other says

"We can try to get it through the double doors" the one on the inside says

"And how do you suggest we get it up there" the one next to her ask

She heads back into her apartment as the men decided on how to get the piano into the one next door. New neighbors, this would be interesting.

She showered and dressed for the day then heaed out to her little job at the supermarket. She stops looking over at the new neighbors apartment. They must have gotten the piano in. The door was shut up and no one was around.

She worked at the local supermarket from nine to five then getting off heads to the little diner where she stops at to get her dinner to take home with her for the night.

As the elevator stops at her floor she steps out onto the landing. The door beside hers is wide open. Thinking a while she steps into the apartment just to have a look nothing more.

This apartment was bigger then hers open concept. She could see the kitchen and living room from where she stood. The cream colored walls were covered in art work. Pictures of nature and animals. There was bookshelves lining the living room and a huge couch with couches that where still in the plastic bags. A huge white island separated the kitchen from the living room. Complete with flat glass stove and grill both. The sink was stainless steel as was the refrigerator. Cabinets and dishwasher all where a deep walnut color. There were dishes already in some of the glass cabinets.

"Are you here for the piano lessons" a deep rumblings voice makes her jump

Her eyes land on a beautiful face, he is tall with broad shoulders. Thick black hair. He wears a pair of faded jeans and a black long sleeve shirt. His feet are bare.

She licks her lips "I'm sorry, I saw your door was open and I just wanted to say hi" she says "I live next door"

He nods "nice to meet you"

"You tudor"

"Yes, piano, I'm expecting a new student today" he explains

His eyes travel her curvy body. She wears black pants with a red shirt with collar. Her shoes are black and her long brown hair is pulled up into a lose ponytail. A could of loose stains escape from there confinement framing her round face. She's short, maybe about five two or so, no makeup. Her lips a dark red and her lashes didn't need any makeup anyway. Her hands where small, and she held a bag in her fist.
