With the tournament only a week away the two males were at the training grounds again. Only this time they had choosen the outside court, I scratched at the itchy oxygen mask. Determination in my veins I went back to my stretching on the sidelines, the promise of weight training soon to come. The two males would be practicing flying today. When I asked why ailign merly responded 'gods can fly' and that settled it.
"Not only can gods fly but some of the tournament participant as well. Though chains can always solve that it's good to be confident in flying before." Jake said and ailign grunted his agreement.
Jake shook his body, two fleshy stubs slowly growing out of his back before they burst forth, like water spilling from a cup they formed. Two huge bat like wings shown on Jake's back, the light penetrating the delicate membrane, showing off the veins of his new wings. Ailign quickly followed suite, his own wings dwarfing jakes.
"Your wings are too big" Jake complained "theyre touching the floor while your holding them up"
"I'm more comfortable with this size." Ailign contured.
"Well see when we're in the air" Jake said, pushing off from the ground and shooting into the sky, I watched his form disappear to a small dot.
Ailign grunts from the effort to do the same, and I let out a small giggle. His wings were too big.
The two males hovered before me, before they pulled out swords, Jake nibily launched himself at ailign, pushing him back, ailigns form spinning before he leveled himself out, expanding his wings to catch his fall.
"Your wings are too big!" Jake yelled again. "Your clumsy!"
Jake launched himself again, leaning forward as his massive wings pushed him, ailign looked like a sitting duck. Jake slashed with his arm, hitting ailign in the torso, ailigns form came crashing down. Crashing down, toward me. I quickly started running in the opposite direction, ailigns body making contact with the ring  right as I got out of the way. A dent was left in the concrete, little bits flying everywhere with the dust. Jake's landed gracefully right beside me.
"Are you ok?" He asked voice hourse.
"I-i think so" I choked out
"Watch out for megan!" Jake yelled at ailign who still wasn't moving.
"Is he going to be ok?" I asked worried.
"I'm fine" ailign said arms coming up, he shoved his way out of the concrete blocks.
I went over to ailign then, checking his body for injuries, but they were already healing, his wings shrinking as he healed.
"Stlp right there." Jake said "that should be good."
Ailigns wings now barely hovered above the ground, he flexed them getting a feel for the new weight. They were beautiful wings, the membrane almost white, compared to there blue white coloring.
"Can I touch them?" I asked
"Wings are very sensitive" Jake said "they have to be so we can feel the shift in the wind currents."
Ailign nodded his head, closing the gap between us I gingerly stroked the beautiful wing. Ailigns eyes closed as he leaned into my touch, only when they opened again did I notice how dark they were, his chest rising and falling quickly. Jake slapped his face and let out a sigh, watching me touch ailigns wing. His hand slid down his face then, an exasperated look on his face.
"Look you two can do this in the bedroom. Come on ailign lets just practice flying. We can add in sword play after you get a grip on the basics again."
Ailign stepped out of my touch then, walking back to jake the two males shot out to the sky again. I watched them leave, flying off into the distance. All alone I went back to my stretching, going into a low lunge I held the position for as long as I could.
"I wish I could fly" I muttered to myself. Wishing for the first time I was a different species then what I was. How much fun would it be to fly? I had always dreamed of the possibly. I made up my mind to ask Jake to take me with him one of these days after we were mated, for now I would focus on what I could do. Building balance and muscle.
My knees wobbling with the effort to hold myself up, I thought every bone in my body ached. Feeling the sore muscles, I did a cool down stretch, as I spotted ailign and Jake return from there flight. The two small dots came soring closer and an alarming speed, I half way wondered if I should step out of the way again for ailign, not wishing to get trampled on. Jake landed first, gracefully stepping down from his hovering position. Ailign landed less gracefully but there was no rubble this time, thank God.
"Good your already getting better." Jake said
Ailign grunted his agreement, arms crossing in front of him, he watched me do my cool down stretch.
"Are you done?" He asked me
"Yeah I'm beat" I said in response.
Ailign looked back in the direction of the house, his eyes glazing over, he finally said "Let's go back then"
Jake tried to protest, but the words feel from his lips as he looked me up and down, deciding it was better for me.
"Ok" He said "movie and popcorn?"
A smile came to my mouth then along with a "hell yes"

"So tell me why again I have to watch this movie called star wars with you guys?" Ailign grumbled but me and Jake were adamant about watching this with the three of us.
'Come on you'll love it. It's a human classic." I pleaded
"She's right it's a must see" Jake agreed
"Human shows are pointless" ailign countered
"Not this one it has a really good plot" I said
Ailign looked reluctant but I grabbed his arm, pulling him to the couch in my small living room. He sat down, my hand still on his arm we waited while Jake found the file on the t.v.
"Do yall make an movies?" I asked suddenly.
"We have shows from all over the universe. There are whole planets were that's practically all they do is make entertainment like earth." Jake said while starting the show.
"I'll show you some of my favorites later" Jake said with a smile.
"I'd love that" I said
Ailign leaned into my touch then, my hand sliding up his arm, it sent shivers down my spine. Being near ailign lately was electrifying, the attractive male was learning to be more gentle as time went on. Giving me small touches here and there to reassure me or comfort me, he was different then how he was in the beginning. I wondered then when he'd open up more to me. I wanted to know more about him, about his vast past and his plans for the future. I knew these things took time but I was finally taking an interest in the male who was my mate.
"So that's what a jedi is" ailign said in the middle of the movie.
"There bad ass aren't they" I said
Ailign nodded his head, a silent affirmation. Jake, sitting on the recliner chair next to the couch continued to pop little peices of popcorn in his mouth as we watched. Ailign shifted his arm away from mine, but I held firmly looking into his pitch black eyes.
"I'm going to go now" He said
"Pause movie" I commanded the t.v.
"Watch later?" I asked
Ailign kissed the top of my head then, the gentle gesture hitting me like a brick right to my heart.
"Yes" he said then he motioned for Jake to get up with him, no doubt to do more research. Aklign wouldn't rest before he new me and our future offspring were safe.
