×Angie POV×

Me: Zachariah showed up about the Michael sword. Castiel teleported us, it's better if you don't know where to. (5.14 pm.)

Justin: Is everyone okay? (5.27 pm.)

Me: Yes. (5.30 pm.)
Me: I really didn't know that I could heal people. I swear. (5.33 pm.)

Justin: I know, Lia. (5.33 pm.)

Me: I'll call you later if that's okay with you. (5.35 pm.)

Justin: Whenever you're ready. (5.40 pm.)

"Who are you texting?", Dean wanted to know, turning down the radio so that it was easier for me to understand him.
Now that there was more silence I could hear Sam's steady snorring. How did the guy manage to fall asleep after the everything that just happened?

"Justin. And before you ask, I didn't tell him that you're Michaels vessel. I only said that Zachariah was there because of the sword.", I defended myself.

Dean didn't say anything and the silence almost slipped into uncomfortable territory before he inhaled a lot of air and exhaled it with a low "Thank you."

Did he really think I was just gonna tell people?
Even though I was sure that Justin wouldn't put pressure on Dean to become Michaels vessel, this wasn't my secret to share.

"You want me to drive for a while? It's still over an hour until the motel.", I offered him.

"You didn't sleep either."

"Well, I'm half angel.", I argued without thinking twice.
Dean huffed.

"Don't bullshit me. You're always tired after using your magic and today you healed three people.", Dean pointed out.

I should've gotten used by now to how well he knew me but it still surprised me each time.
He was absolutely right, I felt physically and emotionally drained.

My body wanted to shut down and fold itself together but there were worse things than exhaustion and my fear of another nightmare was being currently on the top 5 list.

"Maybe that's what's keeping me awake.", I shared vaguely. It wasn't really a lie, seeing Hannahs dead body whenever I blinked didn't exactly put me into a sleepy mood.
"What's your excuse?", I redirected to him, hoping he wouldn't notice.

"I'm not exactly ready to sleep until I've had a few beers."

"Don't ask me to heal your hangover tomorrow.", I warned him, not even knowing where that joke was coming from all of the sudden.

Dean on the other hand didn't seem to question it, he started laughing -really laughing- and it was deep and so genuine that I immediately wished I would only ever say funny stuff like that so that he'd never have to stop.

Len always told a lot of jokes but I doubted that Dean would share her sense of humor.

"Don't worry, angel. I'm a professional beer drinker.", he reassured me.
Was I that tired?
Was I imagining things now or did he actually call me angel?
There was no way of knowing, my name was too similar to the word and I couldn't just ask.

"Good.", I said, not entirely sure how else to react and I was thankful that our conversation got interrupted by Sam's heavy shifting in the front seat.

"Are we almost there?"
Sam was posing the question like he wasn't aware that he was the one talking. It was funny how people developed reflexes like that.
