Paws OST kind of fits ig, I was listening to it as I wrote and it made me a lot more motivated!

I was completely thrown off by the way I had been scarred once again and tossed aside by the large dragon, the one in question being Mochi and having managed to stagger to their feet before I had, their voice wavering as they screeched in my direction.

"You're wrong! I can change!" They shouted, not bothering to await my response before they turned to the nearest exit and darted. I couldn't find the words to tell them that they were wrong, that this fantasy of them magically changing their murderous ways was both impossible and childish, even the way they had worded it was restless and they sounded no more hopeless then I was.

I wiped off the blood trickling from my face, trying not to prod at the injury stacking over the others and bleeding through the cloth of my bandages. I could barely see where they had even run off to, I was still in shock from the sudden movement. I wildly turned my head from side to side, searching for the blade I once clutched finely between my paws. My eyes must've been gushing red at that very moment as I couldn't see anything past the bright crimson light in the direction they had escaped from, the red hue being caused by the severity of the injuries of past and current events. I could only barely see the shadow of their fluffy tail before I managed to stand on my own two feet again, intimidating my self as I called out after them.

"You'll regret this Mochi! Your all going to wish you had listened to me!" To no avail, they did not stop their speedy sprint towards the exit to show they had even heard my words of caution, they were gone in a matter of seconds. I scoffed, both angrily and annoyed, did they even listen to my several warnings? I was trying to make the fearful and panicky experience of a knife being held at their throat more relieving my telling them how their lack of presence would benefit everyone and themselves and they still didn't seem to care, only brushing it off and convincing themselves that what they were going through would eventually pass, I didn't buy it for a second, and I wasn't willing to risk the life of another innocent gootraxian over it either, they'd have to learn one way or another. My thoughts were abruptly stopped when more crimson leaked from my face and onto the dust and dirt of the cave grounds, some of it never reaching that point had dried into the center of my face. I turned to look into one of the crystals, wishing I could see my reflection more clearly so I could properly tend to my fresh wounds and stop the infinite cycle of my nose enduring the awful stench of blood and matted fur. At the same time I didn't want to, my encounter with them before this had completely ruined my face and looks in general. I looked like an insane, blood coated canine who believed adding gasoline could put out an already raging fire.

"What are you doing to your self, Sinox?" I said to my self, resting a single paw on the base of the crystal, the other hovering in front of my face and letting my fingers dance along the bridge of my nose to properly inspect my looks. I hated it, I hated looking into my own eyes. I once felt content looking at my self in the mirror, in fact, during blackouts I'd often stop by the cafeteria, admiring my looks and perfectly groomed fur. I scowled. For a moment, just for a few seconds, I blamed Mochi. The same one that had sided with the genocidal tendencies of Panther and clamped their several teeth around the right side of my face, practically ripping out my eye out and stripping the fur around it in the process of throwing me in the opposite direction. My ears were clogged with blood curdling screams of my own and the soft grumbles of the hounds that stood at my side. I couldn't hear the small quarrel that occurred between Panther and Mochi that caused the other to run off but that wasn't my main focus then, and it isn't now.

It isn't their fault, I could hardly blame them for anything they directly, physically inflicted on the innocent. They were just... sick.. you could say, calling them rabid would just be a flat out insult. I turned away from the piercing eyes of my self, trying to clear the vicious and bashful mindset out of my head. I didn't want to come off as aggressive to Mochi, then they'd never believe nor listen to what I'd have to tell them. When I was sure it had gone I turned back to the crystal.
