I wanted to believe what Sinox was saying was just an over exaggeration compared to what had actually happened to Panther but it truly was no use. Their dull eyes only made me fear for the worst, nothing but negativity swirled in my mind space and caused my anxiety to burst through the roof of the grassy cavern.

My backside suddenly felt unwelcomingly glacial, the feeling of knowing I was in the most vulnerable state with no one to watch the side I simply couldn't keep an eye on my self was starting to make it self apparent. It was like a separate presence entirely had leaned it's substantial talons on my dreadfully still stance and repeatedly trying to warn me of how much danger I was in. At this point I was more then sure Panther hadn't willingly turned and walked away from the situation, somehow making it harder for me to rip my eyes away from Sinox's single one. I thought maybe out of pure fright I'd be motivated enough to shoot one last nervous glance at where the feline had once stood, just to make sure whatever, or whoever had taken them wasn't still hiding within the thin coverage of the trees and thickets. Wanting for more. My body trembled lightly, I opened my mouth to say something but the only thing to escape was a deep sigh I never knew I was holding, only this time it didn't bring much of any relief. My vision grew blurry as tears developed in my eyes. I was completely overwhelmed by it all, especially when Sinox made the slightest of movements.

They raised a brow, gesturing towards the exit of which I had once came. But why? Was it to assist me? Did they really know who took Panther or were they just playing along with the suddenness of their disappearance? I didn't have long to think about it. A long and burdensome shuttering noise echoed throughout the entirety of the facility before bright lights shone down on the lot of us. My vision was obstructed with neon white. I panicked. My back was now turned to Sinox and the uninvited guest who was now participating in whatever scheme the other had set up. Sinox could leap onto my back and stab me several times before I managed to properly regain my vision again. The whispers became more louder and gruesome, recommending multiple things that involved taking some action and accountability all at once. There was one in particular I couldn't keep lifting my ears to hear although it seemed to all just be in my head. While all of the others, who were just as submerged in fright as I was, couldn't stay on a specific concern and continuously screamed about all of them at once, It muttered in worry, not shifting away from the topic of Panther for even a second. Almost as if it had it's own conscious.

But at the same time.

It was telling me to kill Sinox.

And soon the others agreed.

I really don't have time for a feast, not even a light snack that involved me snatching their only remaining eye out of their socket.

The sounds of leaves crunching below someone's light footsteps progressively neared me, causing me to turn around, back against the rough wall of rock as I swung my arms mindlessly in all directions. It barely made contact. I could feel the fur on my arm lightly brush against something and the sounds of someone else's heavy figure slamming harshly onto the ground. The force sent a gust of wind and leaves in my way, allowing me to confirm that whoever had been treading ever so gently in my route had been disoriented, but only temporary. The voices went from elevated whispers to shouts and screams of pure terror as if we were the ones who had been knocked off of our own two legs and at the mercy of some unidentifiable stranger. They begged me to run, they begged me to open my eyes, they even went as far as begging for another holder who could properly fulfill their needs. They didn't need to tell me for the thousandth time, I had already blinked my eyes open and swiftly darted in the direction of the exit as once requested by Sinox. I allowed my tears to fall now that I could see again, trying to refrain from sobbing aloud to avoid any attention from passersby heading back towards their respective areas.
