Axolotl you fell off.

The room went back to It's awkward and gloomy state after some time of bickering. We both sat in the sectors with our backs turned towards each other as if we were waiting for another deranged and mentally ill gootraxian to encounter us. Fortunately, no one ever did, and no one would see us sitting in this absolute wreck of a room with no words for one another.

Panther eventually slipped their paw away from mine, staggering to their feet and brushing themselves off with a long sigh.

"Are you leaving?" I asked, looking towards them again to see them standing at the doorway, standing only a few inches away from triggering the automatic door whilst looking straight at me.

"Yeah, you should to." They answered. I tilted my head slightly.

"Why?"

"I don't think you want anyone to run in and start questioning why the room looks like this. You'd probably blow a fuse." Panther chuckled at their own remark. Although I felt slightly offended by the comment, they were right.

"And also because Sprinklekit might maul somebody if you don't."

Holy shit. I completely stood up, a rush of adrenaline suddenly shooting through my body as I panicked. I had spent so many hours outside I nearly forgot where my original home resided. The cafeteria.

"OH GOD YOUR RIGHT! I GOTTA GO!" I shouted before rushing out the of the room and out towards the caves, pushing past Panther in the process. They might have my head for that but I couldn't care less right now.

I ran straight through the area, dodging and avoiding crystals and large mobs of humans until I made it to the cafeteria, panting and heaving outside of the door and struggling to regain my footing. Just as I was about to recover I heard the automatic doors screech open and reveal a presence I knew all to well.

"MOCHI! I was just about to come looking for you! Where the hell were you?!" They spat, grabbing my wrist and pulling me upwards so I could look at them. I was instantly met with Sprinklekit, staring at me with daggers for pupils and steam practically leaving their ears, they were also melting at an extremely abnormal pace which slightly worried me.

"Are you okay? Your melting a lot-"

"Don't avoid the question!" They interrupted. I just stared at them now, trying to come up with a reasonable response for why I left them alone to tend to the cafeteria. I don't think they minded it anyway, Sprinkle loves their job and is very dedicated to it. Even if their cannibal co-worker isn't present to assist them. They then sighed, looking much more relaxed now but still upset.

"You know what? Nevermind. I'm just glad your okay." The sudden switch in attitude slightly confused me, they were very relentless and stubborn when it came to this type of stuff, so what changed? Maybe it was because of what happened earlier on. I was so distracted that when Spirnkle let go of my wrist, I immediately collapsed to the ground and fell straight onto my face out of pure exhaustion. Causing a groan from me and a squeal from them.

"Are you actually okay?!" They asked, pushing their paws just under my shoulders and heaving me upwards again so I could stand, brushing me off slightly.

"Yeah, I only did run here all the way from sectors." I said sarcastically.

"Well good, you deserved that!" They huffed before practically dragging me into the cafeteria by my arms. For once I could care less about the small yet rough tiled floor scraping my legs, I was just glad to be back in the safety of the cafeteria.

All so very temporarily.
