Chapter 6

Joong came to Dunk's house exactly at 6 and Dunk was ready when he got there. They drove to the shopping mall. It was already night, so the shopping mall was not crowded. They went straight to the tailor's shop.

"Did you choose the colour you want to wear?" The shop keeper asked from the couple. Joong and Dunk looked at each other. They had no idea about what they want to wear for the wedding. Shop keeper understood them. So he smiled at them.

"It's okay. Most of the couples who come here has no idea in the beginning. We'll guide you to choose the best suits for you."

Two assistants came and guide Joong and Dunk through different suits with different colours and styles.

Dunk choose a white suit. White shirt, white pants and white fur coat. He came out from the dressing room and the assistant couldn't hide his awed gaze.

"Wow, you really look like a vampire prince." The assistant said.

"I'll show this to Joong." Dunk was about to leave the dressing area, but the assistant stopped him.

"Don't you know that seeing each other in wedding dress is bad luck?"

"Those are just myths."

"So as we."

Dunk understood what the assistant said. Most human think that vampires and werewolves are mythical creatures. They don't believe that they exist.

Dung sighed and accepted the defeat. He didn't want to argue with the elder people.

"Okay okay. I won't show this to him." Dunk went back to the dressing room.

When Dunk came out of the dressing area Joong was already out. He was looking at a book which as different flower bouquets.

"Do you want to have one?" Dunk asked raising an eyebrow at Joong. Joong looked at Dunk upon hearing his voice.

"I thought it would be nice if you carry one at the wedding." Joong said smirking. He was clearly teasing Dunk.

"In your dreams." Dunk sat in the nearest couch, glaring Joong. Joong smiled and took another book from the shelf. It had pictures of different cakes.

"What do you think of the cake?" Joong asked showing Dunk the book.

"I really don't think anything Joong. Do we at least have a theme for the wedding?"

"What is your favourite flower?"

"You don't know that? We are friends since 12." Dunk laughed.

"We are and imaginary flowers don't count."

"Moon Lily is not a imaginary flower. You just haven't seen them." Dunk said pouting.

"Okay okay. Seriously but what do we gonna do with the cake?"

"Let's go with a big one. With five layers. You choose the design." Dunk said enthusiastically. Joong didn't argue with that. He just nodded.

"Shall we go then? We still need to find the rings." Joong said standing up.

"Oh.. You said we only have to go to tailor's." Dunk whinned. He was trying to sink to the sofa. So Joong pulled from his arm and dragged him out of the shop.

They went to three jewelry shops but couldn't find a ring they like. Dunk was already tired from walking around the mall.

Dunk saw a jewelry shop in a corner. It was not a fancy shop like they visited before. It looked like the shop had time travelled to the future. They both went inside and a bell rang. An old lady came out from a door of the back.

"How can I help you kids." She asked kindly. Dunk was quite surprised to see her. Dunk could smell her. She was not a vampire or werewolf. She had a different scent. But Dunk knew the scent. He had encountered it few times.

"You are a banshee." Dunk said and the lady didn't surprise.

"You have good senses young man. As expected from a pure blood vampire." Dunk was shocked that she recognised him.

"You know us." Before Dunk could say anything Joong came between the lady and Dunk. He stood there protectively covering Dunk.

"Don't need to be that protective boy. I am not gonna harm your husband."

"We are not married yet." Dunk hurriedly corrected her.

"Everyone in the town knows about your wedding. It's been so long since a vampire and a werewolf got married."

"News travel so fast these days." Joong said.

"Medam, do you have a ring we can buy for our wedding?" Dunk asked changing the topic. He didn't want to know about himself from someone else.

"Of course I do. You can choose anything you want." He showed them several pair of rings. All of them were made of gold. None of them catches Dunk's eyes. He was about to call Joong and tell him he didn't like the rings when he saw Joong  looking at a pair of silver rings.

Both rings had the same design. But it was unique. It looked like a serpent wrapped around the finger when it wore.

"Do you like it?" Dunk asked.

"We can't buy it even we liked it. It's silver." Joong said. He was bit disappointed. He really liked the rings.

"It's not really silver." The old lady said getting the rings out from the box. Dunk was going to touch it but Joong stopped him.

"It okay. It's Luna's silver." Dunk said taking the ring. Joong watched him curiously.

"We call it silver because of the colour. But the metal is different from silver. It does not harm you. In fact the ancients said it protects us from harm." The lady told them about the metal that the ring had made out of.

"Do you think it's good enough?" Joong asked. He was hoping Dunk would like it. It was not hard for Dunk to understand that Joong liked the rings. He also liked it was a unique ring. A one of a kind.

"I think it's the perfect one." Dunk said.

The shop lady put the both rings in different boxes and wrapped them in papers. Then she put them in a beautiful bag and hand it to Dunk. Joong paid for the rings.

"You kids better be ready for whats coming. Time ahead will be hard. Not just for you. Everyone around you." The lady said as Joong and Dunk left the shop. Both of them wanted to ask what she was talking about but she already had went to the back of the shop. They both came out of the shop with a heavy heart.

HEY.. I was going to update tomorrow.. but I thought I'll update today.

We got so many JoongDunk moments these days. So not having a update is not a big deal I guess.. 😄😄

I'll try to update day after day. But I can't promise because my work is so random. Sometimes I am tired to death..
