Chapter 7

The next week was hectic for Joong and Dunk. They had to do lots of stuff but having different schedules for school didn't help either. They had to do everything at night. They had to prepare the guest list, find a place for the wedding, find a catering service, select foods and many more things. Luckily their parents and friends helped them a lot.

Three days before the wedding Joong was in his room finalizing everything about the wedding when his phone started to ring. The number was not familiar, but he still answered.

"Joong, " Pond's voice came from the other  side even before Joong could say anything.

"Can you come to Dunk's place?" Pond asked. He sounded like he was in a hurry. Joong could here a big noice also.

"Ask him to come right now Pond or we both will be dead." Joong heard Fourth's voice behind Pond. And he heard a big crash also.

"Wth is going on there?" Joong almost screamed to the phone.

"No time to explain. Hurry up and come here." Then Pond hung up. Joong cursed Pond, took his car keys and left as fast as he can.

Joong came to Dunk's house. His eyes widened seeing the condition of the house as soon as he entered. It was all a mess. Chairs, tables, sofas had thrown here and there like it was hit by a tornado. There were glass pieces and different broken things on the floor.

Joong was about to go upstairs when he heard something crashed in the kitchen. He ran to the kitchen and he saw Pond and Fourth on the ground near the cabinet. The doors of the cabinet had all broken.

Then he saw Dunk, other side of the kitchen. His eyes had changed colour. It was not the hazel eyes Joong was used to see. They were red now. Like burning fire. His fangs were longer than before. He looked exactly like a pure vampire.

"What did you do to trigger him?" Joong shouted to Pond and Fourth.

"We didn't do anything. He was like this when we arrived."

Being friends with Dunk for a long time Joong had seen Dunk like this few times. And he understood why Pond wanted him here. Because apart from Dunk's mother and father only Joong could handle this Dunk.

Joong was about to go to Dunk but before he could move he saw a stool flying his way. He dodged it on time and ran to Dunk. Before Dunk could find anything to hit him again Joong grabbed Dunk from his shoulder and pushed him to the wall.

Dunk was strong. Even for Joong it was hard to hold him. Dunk tried to get out from Joong's grip. But Joong hold him tight.

"Dunk, It me, Joong" Joong whispered to Dunk.

"You are fine. I am here now."

Joong felt Dunk's body got relaxed. His hands hung by the side and he stopped fighting Joong. Joong put his hands around Dunk's shoulders and hugged him. Dunk collapsed on Joong's shoulder, unconscious. Joong knew it would happen. He caught Dunk on time, without letting him fall.

Joong carried Dunk to the sofa now cleaned by Pond and Fourth and put him there. All three of them looked at now sleeping figure. He looked calm now. But he had sweat formed in his forehead. Joong cleaned it with his hand.

"Is he stressed these days?" Joong asked from Pond and Fourth.

"I don't know. He was stressed about the wedding a bit. That's all." Fourth said. But Pond didn't said anything. Joong turned to Pond. Pond looked at Joong too.

"I am not sure, but I think he was stressed about everything that going on. May be he is scared. But he didn't say anything." Joong noded his head and sighed.

"Let's clear this mess."

It took more than a hour to clean the house for those three even with their speed. Joong cleaned the living room while keeping an eye on Dunk. Pond cleaned the kitchen and Fourth cleaned Dunk's room.

"Joong, I finished cleaning Dunk's room. We can move him to there." Fourth said coming downstairs. Joong looked at Dunk who was sleeping peacefully now.

Joong took Dunk in his arms and carried him to the room. He put him on the bed carefully. He was so close to Dunk's face when he put him on the bed. He could see Dunk's features clearly.

Dunk had a beautiful face. Most vampires were beautiful but Dunk was an extra. Joong's eyes travel around Dunk's face. His eyebrows, eyes, eye lashes, his nose and finally Joong's eyes landed on Dunk's lips. Dunk's lips were always plumped and red. Joong always wonder how he kept his lips like that. Joong licked his own lips.

Suddenly Dunk opened his eyes. Joong was so close that he could see the hazel colour in the eyes perfectly.

"Joong" Dunk whispered. He was surprised and confused. Their faces were only inches away and they both could feel each other's breath.

"Shiaa"

Both Joong and Dunk startled by the sudden shout and Fourth was at the door closing his eyes. Joong quickly got up from the bed.

"I didn't see anything." Fourth screamed, closed the door and ran back downstairs. Joong and Dunk looked at the door for few moment confused. Then they looked at each other. There was a akward and heavy silence in the room. Joong broke the silence.

"Are you okay?" Joong asked but Dunk looked like he was really confused.

"Why? what happened to me?"

"You got triggered."

"What? Did I hurt someone?" Dunk asked worriedly.He hate himself for being like that.

"No. Pond called me and I got here on time."

Dunk sighed.

"Thank you. You are always there."

Joong sat beside Dunk on the bed and put his hand around Dunk's shoulder.

"What happened to you? Are you stressed?"

"I don't know Joong. It's just everything is overwhelming. Someone is trying to kill me. I am getting married in three days. And I'm afraid I'll put you also in danger." Dunk's eyes started to tear up and his body and voice shaked. Joong hugged him closer.

"Hey.. It's okay. Everything will be fine. I'm here for you."

Half an hour later Joong and Dunk came to downstairs and Pond and Fourth had almost cleaned the house. Fourth hid his face seeing Joong and Dunk come downstairs.

"Aren't we the one should be embarrassed?" Joong asked Dunk showing now hiding Fourth. Dunk just shrugged his shoulders Joong shaked his head smiling.

"Bro.. are you okay now?" Pond asked seeing Dunk.

"Yeah. I'm sorry Pond. Did I try to hurt you guys?" Dunk said guiltyly.

"It's okay Dunk. We are fine." Fourth said now coming out of his hiding place.

"It's a good thing that you guys were here." Joong said.

"Are you staying for the dinner?" Dunk asked and Joong shaked his head.

"No, I got to do some last minute check-ups."

"Do I need to do anything?" Dunk felt bad that Joong did lot of work on their wedding.

"Yeah.. Just be there on time." Joong smirked and winked at Dunk.

"Please.. You two can flirt all you want after the wedding. Leave our eyes from this torture." Pond said rolling his eyes at Joong and Dunk.

"No one flirt. " Dunk said glaring at Pond.

"Yeah right."

"I'll see you later. Bye."

Joong left and Dunk sank into a sofa. He was going to be married in three days and he hoped everything would be changed for the better.
