Chapter 3

At the Clan House

"What? You got separated from them?"

Pond, Phuwin, Gemini, and Fourth were currently at the clan house with two clan leaders, Joong's and Dunk's fathers. Pond and Phuwin explained everything happened in the club.

"They said they are coming behind us. When we saw they are not behind us and tried to call them.. But we couldn't reach them." Fourth said almost crying. Gemini was trying to calm him down.

"They were after Dunk. They separated from you so the enemies won't go after you." Joong's father said thinking.

"Who are those people? Dunk said he couldn't recognise the scent." Pond said thinking back.

"They were strong too." Phuwin added. He remembered what happened at the club.

"We are not sure yet. But we have a hunch. But first we need to find those two." Dunk father said and Joong's father agreed.

"Earth, Force take your teams and go look for them. I have a feeling that they might go to the river. Search around the area."

Joong's father called their two best protectors. Earth is a vampire and Force is a werewolf. Both of them obeyed their leaders and went out.

At the river

Dunk woke up coughing water out from his lungs. He felt something heavy on his chest and saw a big paw. Then he looked up and almost lost his soul upon seeing a big wolf standing closer to him. It was huge brown wolf and at the same time elegant.

Dunk only remembered getting out of the car at the river bottom. He must've lost consciousness. Dunk recognise the wolf. He had seen it few times.

Wolf was looking directly at Dunk's eyes .

"I'm fine. Get off of me." Dunk said touching the paw. Wolf stand up and took a bag that was beside Dunk and went behind a tree.

Dunk got up and waited for wolf to return. But the one who returned was not the wolf but Joong.

"When did you have time to shift?"

"I was not planning to shift. But you are heavier than you look. I couldn't swim faster in human form with you."

"Oh.. Sorry about that."

"No worries. Are you alright? We can rest a bit of you want."

"I'm fine. Thank you for saving me. But where are we?" Dunk asked looking around. They were definitely in a forest. But Dunk never been to this side of the forest.

"Not in our territory. This area belongs to red clan."

"Red clan? You mean Nick and Leo?" Dunk asked surprised.

"Do you know them?"

"Yeah. That Nick guy is kind of into me." Dunk said looking down. He didn't know why he could not look at Joong when he said that. Joong didn't say anything about that.

"Let's find a way back."

When werewolves and vampires decide to join forces they also decided to make clans with one wolf pack and one vampire clan. So Joong's pack and Dunk's clan decided to join hands sice they were the only pure blooded left.

Like that there are several clans who had join forces and some of those clans are revals with other clans.

Joong and Dunk walked through the forest. They were both fast but they decided to take it slow to save their energy.
