Next day evening Joong and Dunk went to the shopping mall as they planned. Shopping mall was full of people because it was still evening. Joong and Dunk went to few shops and bought gifts for elders.
"I'm going to buy a white rose bouquet to medam Elizaa." Dunk said looking at a flower shop.
Medam Elizaa was the only elder that Dunk liked. She was kind and always gave advice to Dunk. Even though she was a werewolf she never show any dislike towards Dunk. So Dunk was very fond of Medam Elizaa.
"Should we buy flowers to the other elders too?" Joong asked looking at flowers inside the shop. Dunk was selecting the white roses.
"How about some poison ivys?" Dunk asked smirking. Joong shaked his head in disbelief.
It took them few hours to buy all the things and sun has set when they came out of the shopping mall. Then they went straight to where the elders live.
Elders house was a big mansion. It had a big garden which had different trees and plants. Some plants were poisonous but some had medical values. This mansion was centuries old and it was belong to the one of the pure vampire family.
Joong drove the car through the big metal gate into the garden and the mansion was standing in the middle with its full glory. Dunk got goosebumps just seen the mansion. He became more nervous as they got closer to the mansion.
They stopped the car in front of the mansion door and got out with everything they bought. They rang the door bell and Dunk felt chill ran down in his back with the sound of the bell. They waited for few moments and a kind looking old lady opened the door.
"My dear children.. We were waiting for you." The lady said smiling.
"Madam Elizaa, It's nice to see you again." Dunk said and gave his white rose bouquet to the lady.
"Thank you boy. Let's go inside." Medam Elizaa escorted both Joong and Dunk inside.
The living area was a large room. It had a big fire place and sofas were arranged around the fireplace. There was a small glass table in the middle. There were two shelves near wall. One was filled with books which looked like very old and the other was filled with different glass bottles.
The living room gave had a dim light which Dunk liked very much. It was dark even in the day time and it gave a very cozy feeling.
There were three people sitting in the living room and madam Elizaa also joined them.
"Come and sit down kids." Medam Elizaa showed them a sofa and Joong and Dunk sat obediently.
"It's been so long since a werewolf and a vampire got married." One of the elders said. He was a vampire. Even though he was old his beautiful features were still visible.
Another female elder came pushing a food cart. It was filled with home baked cookies and buns. There was a tea pot and cups.
"Since you guys came a long way, let's have some tea." Medam Elizaa said giving Joong and Dunk some cookies and buns. Joong and Dunk accepted them with a thank.
"Aren't you guys are too young to get married?" The lady who brought tea asked.
"We had no choice ma'am. It is our responsibility." Joong said.
"Marriage is a divine thing. It should not happen because of some responsibility. It should happen with love." A male elder said. His voice sounded sad. Joong and Dunk looked at each other upon hearing it.
"Even though we do not love each other, he is more than a friend to me and I respect him and he is my safe zone already." Dunk said looking directly at Joong. He was not lying. He did not have any romantic feelings towards Joong. But he considered him as more than a friend.
The elder smiled at Dunk's answer. It looked like he was satisfied with his answer.
"Give them a break George.. They still young." Medam Elizaa told.
Joong and Dunk talked with elders for a long time. They gave them advice and both of them accepted them happily. Dunk was happy that none of them said anything to make him upset.
The elders asked them to stay for the dinner because it was already past the time of dinner. Joong and Dunk wanted to refuse but elders insisted and they decided to stay for the dinner with elders.
"Medam Elizaa, Do you know anything about those things that creating problems these days?" Dunk asked at the dinner table. Joong looked at the Dunk surprised. He didn't expect Dunk to ask about those things from elders.
Medam Elizaa also did not expect this question. She looked at other elders with a serious face.
"Those things are older as much as us. They were part of our clans at first. They got the blessings from the moon goddess like all of us." A male elder said. His eyes looked like he was looking at somewhere far away.
"What happened to them? Why are they not a part of the clans now? Why they came back after a long time?" Dunk asked. He was impatient to know about those things. Joong had to grab Dunk's thigh to calm him down.
"They were cruel. They wanted power. They wanted to control everything. They became a threat to all the others. Other leaders had no choice. They cast them out from the clan. They ran away to a far away place and banned from our territory."
"Who are them?" Joong asked. He was as curious as Dunk. He wanted to know more about their enemy.
"They are called Wendigos."
"Ancients said that Wendigos aren't blessed by the moon goddess. They were cursed. That's why they have become a vicious creatures." Medam Elizaa said.
"Why are they coming after me?" Dunk asked. He could not understand his relation to these Wendigos.
"You boy, is the pure vampire that born after ages. You are naturally powerful than others."
"I'm not that powerful." Dunk mumbled.
"You'll see how powerful you are when the right time come."
"All those trouble just because I'm a pure blood." Dunk told himself. but all the people in the table heard him.
"I warned tou the last time. Didn't I. You will bring only trouble to people around you." The elder man said. Madam Elizaa glared at him.
"Shut up and eat George. He didn't do anything. And stop thinking history is repeating."
"What do you mean history repeating? have this happened before?" Joong asked. But elders didn't give him a satisfying answer.
"That's not our story to tell. Now all of you stop talking and finish your food." Medam Elizaa told them all and all of them ate their foods in silence.

"It's raining heavily. How can we go back Joong?"
Joong and Dunk were ready to go back but it started to rain heavily from nowhere. They both were standing at the front not knowing what to do and it was getting really late.
"It will rain the whole night. Why not you guys stay here tonight." Medam Elizaa said coming to them. It didn't seem to be rain was going to stop anything soon.
"No ma'am. We can't trouble you anymore."
Dunk said politely. He really didn't want to trouble the elders.
"It's not a trouble boy. Besides we rarely have any visitors." Madam Elizaa said kindly. Joong and Dunk felt sad they looked at each other and Dunk noded to Joong. Joong noded him back.
" Then Medam Elizaa, let us trouble you tonight." Joong said and Medam Elizaa's face lit up with the happiness.
