Chapter 8

Wedding day

Dunk was in his dressing room wearing his wedding suit. It was all white. A hair stylist had done his hair perfectly. He had a little make up on. Dunk was so nervous. He should be nervous. It was his wedding day after all. Dunk saw the full moon rising from the window of the room.

"It is time." Dunk thought to himself. At the same time he heard a knock on the door. He opened the door and saw Pond and Phuwin at the door. They were wearing the same colour as Dunk.

"How do you feel bro?" Pond asked. He could tell that Dunk was nervous. So he wanted to cheer him a bit.

"Nervous." Dunk said sighing.

"It's going to be over soon." Phuwin said reassuring. He patted Dunk's shoulder.

"Let's go mate. It's almost time."

Dunk sighed and came out of the room with Pond and Phuwin. He met his parents at the door. They both gave him a hug. They both had tears in their eyes and Dunk's eyes filled with tears upon seeing them.

"Shh.. Don't cry my baby. Your mama is here. Everything is going to be alright." Dunk's mother said wiping his tears.

"I know this is a big burden. I know I put too much pressure on you. I'm really sorry son." Dunk's father hugged Dunk tied and cried hard.

"Dad, Even this idea is yours, it is still my decision to marry him. And I am glad it is Joong and not some stranger. So don't say sorry. You did nothing wrong." Dunk said sobbing. He tried hard not to cry. He didn't want his father to blame himself for this. It was not his father's fault at all. They both decided to do this for their clan.

"Let's go Dunk." Phuwin said grabbing Dunk's shoulder.

Dunk walked out of the house with Pond and Phuwin behind him. Joong and Dunk decided to have a outdoor wedding since they'll be marrying at night.

The whole place was decorated with white flowers and lights. All flowers were night blooms. Some were still pods and Dunk knew they'd be blooming by the midnight.

As Dunk walked he saw lot of people have come to witness their wedding. Both vampires and warewolves. He saw some people from different clans. He felt nervous again. There were lot of people and he didn't knew most of them.

Dunk turned around and looked at Pond. Both Pond and Phuwin gave him a encouraging smile. Dunk took a deep breath and straight his back. Then he walked to the venue.

Joong was standing at the altar, wearing a all black suit, waiting for Dunk. Gemini and Fourth standing behind him. He was nervous. This was not a real marriage. But he couldn't deny the fact that he felt bit excited. He heard the changing of the music and he turned around to see Dunk walked down the aisle.

Joong's eyes widen seeing Dunk. He looked like an angel. Suddenly Joong had a thought why god hated vampires. Not even god's most beautiful creature could pass Dunk's beauty.

Dunk kept walking to Joong. Keep looking at him and Joong didn't take his eyes off from him. As Dunk came closer Joong held his and Dunk took it.

"You look beautiful." Joong couldn't help himself from whispering to Dunk. Dunk blushed with the little compliment and amd smiled at Joong.

"You don't look bad either." Joong didn't say anything. He nodded his head.

Ceremony started with a speech about love, unity and the joining of two families. Then Joong and Dunk read their vows and exchanged their serpent shaped rings.

"Now, with the power I got from the moon goddess I pronounce you husbands. You may kiss now."

Dunk's eyes widened hearing that. Joong turned to Dunk. He saw that Dunk was nervous. So he held Dunk's hand.

"It's okay. Don't think. Close your eyes." Joong whispered and Dunk obeyed. He closed his eyes tied. He felt Joong tug his hand and pull him closer. He smelled Joong's scent. So close to him. Then he felt a feather like touch on his lips. It vanished as soon as he felt it.

Dunk felt disappointed. He wanted to feel it more. As soon as he realised what he just thought he opened his eyes. He saw Joong looking at him smiling. All the crowd applaused for them.

Celebration was more bigger than the wedding. Everyone was enjoying. But Joong and Dunk were exhausted from talking to all the guests. They did their best to hide their annoyance.

After the whole night celebration the wedding ended and Joong and Dunk came to their new house. Their parents bought it for them.

"Finally, I can sleep." Dunk dropped to the bed.

"Yes, but please take a shower first. I don't want to sleep with a stinky person." Joong said pulling Dunk from his leg. Dunk fell to the ground.

"Ouch. Aren't you too mean for your husband." Dunk whinned and got up from the bed. Then he took his towel and went to the bathroom.

How do you like the wedding guys? I know it's not as grand as you thought. I'm still new to writing.. So pardon me for my poor choice of words. 🙏🙏😭😭

And don't expect a honeymoon yet. This is an arranged marriage and they are still good friends. 🤡🤡😂😂
