Chapter 29

"James, you want us. Let them go." Joong said angrily. He gritted his teeth while talking.

"Then surrender. We'll let them go." James said. Joong and Dunk looked at each other. They both understand the situation. They both had no choice. Dunk dropped the dragger in his hand and looked at James with fire in his eyes.

"We surrender James let them go."

"No Dunk you can't." Phuwin screamed. The Wendigos that was holding Phuwin punch him in the stomach and Phuwin fell on his knees.

Two Wendigos came to Joong and Dunk with silver chains. They tied them up.

"Ah!" Dunk winced with pain. His previous wound also still haven't healed yet. Joong glanced at him worriedly and Dunk smiled at him assuring that he was fine.

There were only little time left before the lunar eclipse and James had already captured Joong and Dunk. Dunk wondered if this is going to be the end of them.

Dunk looked at Joong. In his life Joong was the best thing that happened to him. From the first day they met until today Joong was always there with Dunk. He always had a special place in his heart for Joong.

Dunk's thoughts were interrupted with a screaming noise. Dunk looked at the direction noise came. He saw Pond and Gemini attacked the Wendigos who captured Phuwin, Fourth and his father with Force and Earth.

For Dunk's terror a Wendigo attacked Pond with a silver dragger and it hit Pond's stomach. Pond fell to ground and Phuwin caught him on time. Dunk tried to run to Pond but he was held back by the Wendigo who was holding his chains. Dunk turned around and growl at him. The Wendigo was pissed by Dunk and He punched Dunk in his face.

Before the Wendigos even realise what is happening Joong jumped on him and straddled him. Then he wrapped the silver chains that tied to him around the Wendigo's neck.He was burned and dropped dead on the ground.

The other wendigo tried to attack Joong but Dunk was faster than him. He bite off the Wendigo's neck until it was bleed to death.

Earth and Force hurried to Joong and Dunk and broke the chains. Dunk ran to Pond.

James saw Joong and Dunk had gotten away. So he ran away with Leo. Dunk's father saw him running away. He instructed his two vampire soldiers Mix and Book to capture him.

Pond was lying on Phuwin's lap. He was bleeding a lot and a healer was tending his wound. The wound was healing but slowly.

"If it didn't heal before the eclipse he will face danger." The healer said.

"Why?" Dunk asked worriedly. Joong was also beside Dunk.

"Because when the eclipse happened he will loose his powers with the ability of healing." Dunk looked at the moon and then looked at Pond. He was unconscious. Dunk felt helpless. His best friend was dying and there were nothing he could do about it.

"If he wake up he will heal faster right?" Phuwin asked from the healer. He nodded his head.

"Yes. But with the amount of blood he has already lost I can't wake him up now." Healer said.

"I can." Said Phuwin and then he bit his own hand until it bleeds. Then he hold Pond's mouth and let his blood fall into him. Even though Pond was unconscious his vampire instincts worked and he drank the blood.

Dunk and others surprised with Phuwin's action. Pond and Phuwin always bickering and fighting with eachother. No one expected Phuwin to do such thing for Pond.

"He saved my life thrice. He got hurt trying to save me. This is the least I can do." Phuwin said. Pond opened his eyes weakly.

"That's enough. Or you'll faint." The healer said to Phuwin when Pond got his consciousness back. His wound started to heal much faster.

"You still need treatment. You were stabbed with a silver dragger. You are lucky that none of your organs were damaged." Healer said helping Pond to get up. Pond nodded his head for everything he said.

"I'm okay." Pond said seeing Dunk's worried face.

Dunk suddenly felt weak in his body. He was about to fall but Joong caught him.

"What is happening?" Dunk asked Joong confused. Joong didn't say anything. He looked at the sky.

"The Lunar eclipse " Dunk wishpered. He understood that he had lost his powers. Not only him all the vampires and werewolves lost there powers.

Mix and Book came back. They couldn't capture James or Leo. All of them thought that they escaped and ran away.  But they were wrong. When the eclipse happened they returned.

"What a sad moment. The children of the moon have lost their powers because the moon has disappeared." James came out laughing like a maniac. Other Wendigos also appeared and they had surrounded Dunk and the others.

"Look what is going to happen to all of you now."

James took a very old looking book from his pocket. Then he started to read some spells. Dunk understood it was the book with dark magic.

"Joong, we gotta stop them."

"How? We don't have any power."

"I don't think so. Look." Dunk showed Joong his ring. It was shining with a light blue colour.

Joong and Dunk felt power surged through their body. It wasn't powerful like their usual abilities but they hope it was enough to go against Wendigos.

Dunk took Joong's hands in his.

"Joong, don't get hurt. We may not have our healing ability."

Joong raised their joined hands and kissed it.

"I won't."

They started to ran to where James was. The task was not easy with Wendigos who tried to block them. Joong and Dunk fought them all.

Dunk was almost near the James when he hit very powerful blow. He collided with a tree and fall to the ground. He coughed blood.

"Shit."

"Looks like the moon goddess have found a way to give her children some powers. But I am sad to say this Dunk, that little power is not enough against my dark magic." James came to Dunk and kicked him once. He was going to kick him again but Joong punched him in the face.

When Joong tried to punch him for the second time James grabbed Joong's hand. Then he grabbed him by the neck and threw him to a tree. Joong also fell on his knees.

Joong and Dunk both got up and looked at eachother. They nodded to each other and attacked James together. James blocked evry attack and keep fighting with Joong and Dunk.

In the middle of the fight Joong caught something silver shone through the air. He looked at the direction and saw Leo. He was holding a gun. Joong knew it was not a normal gun. It has silver bullet. And he was aiming the gun at Dunk. It seems like Dunk clearly didn't sense the danger and Joong figured he don't have enough time to warn Dunk. He chose the only choice he had. When the gun fired he jumped in the middle of the bullet's path and took the bullet instead of Dunk. The bullet hit his heart.

A/N:

Huh huh huh.. Two more chapters and this story will come to an end. The silver bullet went through Joong's heart. 😭😭😭

Actually this was not the original plot I had in my mind when I started this story. I don't know where it all started to change. 😁

For my next story I'm going to post the plots in my X within this week. Hopefully I'll be able to start new story from next week.

And lastly, WHERE THE HELL IS JOONG AND DUNK? 😶😶😶
