The moment of hope and determination in our meeting with Cody was fleeting, for my heart skipped a beat as a familiar phrase rang out.

I turned, my eyes widening, to see a figure clad in Jedi robes approaching. The voice, the posture, the presence – there was no mistaking it. Master Obi one Kenobi is walking towards us.

A complex mix of emotions coursed through me, primarily a sense of cringe and flustered. While I had seen my former master, Obi-Wan Kenobi, use the phrase in many different situations during our time together, it was almost exclusively directed at women. The memory of his charismatic and charming interactions with others was hard to ignore. Especially since now I am at the receiving end. I do hope my tail is not swishing around.

I had hoped to avoid this encounter, but it seemed fate had other plans.

Cody spoke up, introducing me as the leader of the survivors to Obi-Wan Kenobi. Obi-Wan regarded me thoughtfully, his piercing gaze making me feel vulnerable. Then, he addressed me directly, using my old nickname. "Cat? Is that you?"

I felt a rush of nervousness as I replied, "Hi, Master Kenobi, its been a long time."

Obi-Wan's shock was evident as he looked me up and down, taking in the changes that time had wrought. I could see the curiosity in his eyes, a Jedi's constant quest for understanding.

"It's been a few years since I last saw you, and you were just a kid back then," I commented, acknowledging the passage of time. "Yes, it was necessary for me to leave the Order. It was the only way to survive."

My words carried the weight of experience and a decision I had agonized over. The life I had chosen was one of secrecy and solitude, but it was also one of freedom and life, and I was determined to stand by my choices.

I couldn't help but comment, "So, I see the Jedi have changed their ways and now command an army. What happened to the old rules?"

Obi-Wan's expression was a mix of weariness and understanding. "Yes, things have changed since you left the Order."

Before our conversation could delve further into the complexities of the Jedi's new role, Cody intervened with a more immediate concern. "Sir, we need the coordinates of the village to drop the supplies and gather intel on the hostages."

I realized that my bitterness got the better of me, there were more pressing matters at hand.

As we began to walk back towards the forest, I glanced back at them. "Bring some men with you," I added. "I'll show you the way, and I'll give you the coordinates to the camp of the survivors. Just be aware that they're skittish, so be cautious when you approach."

I handed over a tablet with the coordinates to Cody. Tell your men to be slow are the villagers, they have been through a lot.
