After hearing the scream we ran out of the volcano and down the hill to the main road. We saw a car has crashed into the wall. We ran over and looked in the broken window to see...Becky!
"Oh my god! Becky!!" I screamed. She had her eyes open but wasn't moving. I pulled her out and told Mike to call the police. I checked her breathing and I could here her breathing.
"Becky! Becky can you hear me!" I yelled, "what on earth was she doing up here?" I yelled to Mike. He shrugged and placed a hand on my shoulder.
"Hello? There's been a car accident on volcano road. One girl. She's not responding but she's breathing." He spoke into his phone, "ok thank you." He hung up. "The police are already on there way." He sat next to me and held my hand. I cried and lifted Becky's head into my lap and cried into Mike's shoulder.
"It's gonna be ok" he whispered in my ear. Then a ambulance pulled up right beside us. We stepped away from her as she was carried and lifted into the ambulance.
"Will she be ok?" I choked out.
"We don't know yet." One of the officers told me. They walked over to us. "Did you see what happened?" They asked.
"No we..we.." I knew they would think it was weird that I was at the volcano, "We're just passing by and heard a crash and scream." A tear rolled down my cheek.
"You two should get home we'll contact you as soon as possible." The officer said.
"Alright we'll get going home." Mike told him he held my hand and we turned and walked towards the car.
"Wait what about the volcano?" I asked him.
"Enough has happened tonight. Let's just get home." He told me. It was a silent ride home. I wonder what made her crash. Was it connected to the black dress shoe? So many questions that I needed answers for. I guess tomorrow while Mike is at work I can just try to figure out what dad meant by r-l-w-o and numbers and backwards. We pulled into the drive way and got out. We walked inside and he knew I needed some comfort so he brought me to my room.
"Are you ok?" He asked hugging me on my bed.
"I don't know." I replied crying into his shoulder, "I'm so confused and worried." I mumbled out. He held me closer and we layer down in the bed.
"It's gonna be ok I promise." He whispered into my ear. I kissed him on the lips and I fell asleep in his arms.
