I stayed at Amelia's until my mom got off work and came to her house as well. Amelia's family are the sweetest people in the world. Amelia's last name is Johnson. Mr. Johnson is a very funny guy. He doesn't do anything bad to himself or his health. He's very serious guy when he needs to be but he owns like 15 famous businesses all over the place. Mrs. Johnson was a model when she was a teen to when she turned 25. She has golden blond hair and the most beautiful green eyes. Amelia gets her green eyes from her mother. Amelia has brown hair from her dad though. Her parents call me there second daughter. I'm almost always at there house. They trusted me with there garage code and I could walk inside any time I wanted. The pantry was always open to me. And I could use there pools when I needed a relax. There butler and maids were always so kind to me and I would joke around with them all the time. There family is awesome! The butler and some maids put dinner together and the other maids set the table and brought us drinks and snacks. My mom was quieter than usual. I figured hearing the news of some creep in our house following us was a little unusual.

"Uh mom?"

"Hmm?" She said snapping out of a daze, "oh so sorry Katie what?"

"Oh well when we were at the beach "The Black Dress Shoe" through a shoe at my phone and it fell in the water." I said.

"Oh it's ok Katie." My mom said.

Mrs. Johnson finished her sip of whine and than spoke "Oh right, Katie Amelia brought me your phone we put it in a bowl of rice in the living room to see if the water would soak out."

"Oh ok thank you very much Mrs.Johnson." I replied, " I hope it works." I looked down at my napkin on my lap.

"Well Katie, we can always get you some money for a new phone. We know how hard it is for your family and since we're practically lying in money in this house we can buy you a new better phone." Mr Johnson said smiling.

My mom spoke up "Oh Mr.Johnson we wouldn't possibly allow that."

"No we insist. You guys need it." He smiled. He was such a great man. All of the Johnson's were great. The door bell rang and the maid went and answered it. We heard some talking and then the maid said,
"Oh why of course there over here at our dinner table." She motioned her hand inside. We saw two police officers walk in the door with some boxes. The maids took the boxes to the guest bedrooms and the police officers were welcomed to the table.

"Hello Mrs. Carter and Katie. We are some police officers. We brought you some things from your house. Everything has been looked thoroughly at nothing to worry about. We did a search of the house and found another one of these." The slightly taller officer said while pulling out a picture from his pocket. He handed us another photo of a Dress Shoe lying on the grass of our back yard. The grass patch of the photo was just located right outside of our laundry room window. The window was slightly cracked open. "We would like to ask a few questions but since your eating dinner I won't bother you." My mother nodded. The Johnson's agreed. The Johnson's signed a few papers and then we did and then the police officers left. The maids brought out dinner and I just sat there in awe. Mashed potatoes, steak, gourmet Mac & Cheese, and drinks for everyone. Despite the delicious smell I couldn't eat. I was too worried. Oh dad if you were here I wouldnt feel so scared.
