Amelia walked me back to my house. She stood next to me as we walked tears filling my eyes because of my broken phone.
"Mom doesn't have enough money to pay for another I hope the rice thing works." I choked out.
"Me too but if it doesn't I can pay for you." She said smiling. Amelia is filthy rich and I envy her life. But surprisingly unlike other rich people she's super nice and very generous.
"I don't want you to pay that's just weird." I said. We kept walking till we reached my house door she stood behind me as I slowly opened the front door. The first thing I did as I peeked in was look in front of me,the kitchen, the stairs and then I gulped and looked at the bathroom. The light was on but the door was opened all the way with nothing was in there. But believe it or not there was another black dress shoe. I looked at Amelia and we both had fear dripping down our faces. We tiptoed inside and walked to the bathroom. We looked in at the shoe and picked it up to determine if the shoe that hit me was the same as the one in my bathroom and it was I looked up as I left the room to see a note on my window in very awful writing,
"Keep your family outta that volcano road or you'll never see them again.." Signed "Dress Shoe".
I looked at Amelia and we both ran out of the house and to her house I used her phone to call my mom and told her what happened. She said she would call the cops and Amelia agreed to let us stay at her house for as long as we needed to.
