Mike POV:
When I pulled up in ten driveway I saw that Katie was already asleep. I carried the stuff in and put it down next to the door. I walked back to the car and carried her in the house. I brought her to her room and lied her down in her bed. Her room was a little cold so I pulled the blanket over her.
"I love you." I whispered and kissed her forehead. I went back to my room and went to sleep as well.
Katie POV:
I woke up in my bed with the blankets on me. I smiled knowing that Mikey did this. It wasn't morning yet. It was still night. I was thirsty so I stood and and thought I'd get a glass of water from the kitchen.
"I need some-" I started to say but tripped. I held my hands out in front of me to catch myself and finished my sentence while falling,
"Water!" I yelled. I hit the ground. It hurt but, the ground was wet. I looked at the ground and say that it was water.
"Hold on a second!" I thought out loud "How did that he there?"
I looked at my hands and then thought about how I said water while holding out my hands. I opened the balcony and held out my hands.
"Water." I said. Right as the word finished water sprayed from my hands. For three seconds it's sprayed and then it stopped. I looked down at my hands in disbelief.
"Water" I said again watching the water spray out. "These are the powers my dad talked about!" I said excitedly. I then experimented with the powers. I could hold out just one hand. I could also determine the force of the water by the volume I said water with. If I said it quietly water would sprinkle out. Saying it normally it would come out like a faucet. If j yelled it, it would spray at full power. I started at my hands.
"Hmmm I wonder..." I say. I hold out my hands and say, "water" but instead of holding them still I moved them gently using my hands like a paintbrush. The water moved where I wanted it to. I kept moving my hands and eventually formed a my name in the sky with the water. "Woah"
I put then moved my hands as if I was going to high five someone. That made the water freeze.
"WOW!" I yelled jumping up and down.
I reached my hand out and touched the ice. It was freezing. I stared at the ice and then looked down at my hands. Could I make it break? I stared at the ice and then moved my fingers apart. The ice broke apart and turned into snow. I laughed and watched the snow sprinkle down. Some got on my hair and clothes and I racked my hands out and spun around. I handy seen snow since I lived in Denver before I moved here. I smiled and stood there spinning around like a idiot. Then the snow stopped. Ran out of ice. I ran into my room and through on a jacket and shoes and ran into the backyard. I stood there in the night looking at my hands. This was so cool.
I put out my hands and instead of putting them in front of me I faced them down on the ground near my feet. "Water" I said. Water rises from
The ground to under my feet. The water lifted my feet up. I was no longer touching the ground. I was being lifted by the water. I looked up and I was high enough over a tree.
"This is how I get the Jem.."
