>>> How Faye and Matt Got Together (Nearly two months back) >>>

“Faye!” Christy shouted across the parking lot, waving frantically.

I grin and wave back, jogging over to her. “Hey babe,” I greet, giving her a quick hug.

“The game’s about to start!” she thrills, jumping up and down.

Logan’s got his big game today and I told him I’d come support him. I asked Christy, Mabelle and Kylie to come with me. Naturally they agreed; Gellar footballers are known to be incredibly good-looking.

“I know, I know. I had to run across the street to get Logan his drink,” I explain, quickly disengaging from her. “Go get us some seats in the stand babe, I’ll pass this to Logan.”

I run over to the back of the stadium where the locker room is. I’ve been here a couple of times with Logan a few years back when we came to support Ryder.

“Logan!” I call from outside, not daring to walk into the guy’s locker room.

He pokes his out surprised. “Faye, what you doing back here?” he asks, his hair is pointing in every which way and he’s holding his helmet in his hand, looking adorably confused.

“I wanted to wish you luck, silly!” I explain, pulling him into a quick hug. He grins and hugs me back tight. “I also got you a red bull,” I murmur, holding the can out for him. It’s been his favourite drink forever and I know he loves having one especially after a game.

“Thanks so much Faye! I’d introduce you to my team but everyone’s kind of getting dressed,” he murmurs apologetically.

“No worries! I’ll admire the eye-candy from the stands,” I whisper winking at him. I give him a wave before heading back to the stands.

Christy has booked us seats right on top. Not that I’m complaining, I get to see everything from here. But I don’t think Logan will hear me screaming for him. Ah well, you win some, you lose some.

“When do I get to meet this mysterious guy of yours?” Christy demands before I even manage to sit down. Mabelle and Kylie lean in eager for the gossip. I merely chuckle and wave them away.

“He’s not my mysterious guy! He’s my best friend since I was four!” I explain for the thousandth time. They just are not content with my answer. It’s as if they think he and I are secretly dating or something like that.

Thankfully the whistle then blows. My girl friends are too busy ogling the guys to try and interrogate me. I don’t blame them, there’s something about these Gellar High boys! Maybe there’s something in the water or something.

I spot Logan immediately. He’s looking through the crowd, looking a little disappointed. I grin when I realise he’s looking for me. I jump up and stand on my seat, waving like mad! “Logan! Kick ass babe!” I scream at the top of my lungs. His eyes lock in on me and he grins, waving happily.

I realise half the people in the stands are staring at me. Suddenly embarrassed, I quickly sit back down and Logan chuckles at that, putting his helmet on.

“Dude, that’s your best friend?” Kylie demands, fanning herself theatrically.

I nod my head happily but my eyes don’t leave the field. I hate coming to Logan’s games despite how much I try to make it look like I like being around. I hate seeing him get attacked and knocked to the ground. He loves the game though and it means a lot to him for me to come, so I do.
