A/N: Hey guys! Sorry, it's taken so long!

And sorry its so short.

And sorry nothing much happens.

But my exams are in six weeks and I have to study my ass off if I want to get into the Uni I'm aiming for. So either short updates or putting this story on hiatus till mid Nov. What do you guys think??

As usual, hope you guys enjoy!

xx

“Hey girlfriend!” Ryder calls, walking through the doors towards me. He bends down, pecking me on the lips before he heads back to the kitchen to get breakfast. “Want anything?”

“No thanks,” I call back, smiling like a 6-year old.

He just called me his girlfriend!

Ryder walks back to the table, his tray laden with food. He sits beside me, slings his arm over my shoulder and smiles at me.

“So, did you sleep well?” he asks.

“Yeah,” I murmur, smiling at him.

We lapse into silence for a while before Ryder pulls his hand away, tucking into his breakfast.

“That’s a lot of food, Ry. You’ll get fat if you’re not careful,” I tease.

“It’s not all for me. Half of it’s for you. I think that’s what couples do, right?” he asks, suddenly uncertain.

I grin at his sudden uncertainty, kissing his jaw. “Thank you.”

He smiles back at me and pushes the tray towards me. “So, I was thinking, maybe we could go for a hike later?”

I take a bite of the apple thoughtfully. “You know, for an outward bound school or camp or whatever, we haven’t actually done anything outdoors,” I comment.

“I know! I went to the managing officer and asked what kind of crap camp they were running-”

“Tell me you didn’t actually say that!” I interrupt quickly.

“Well, not exactly like that,” Ryder admits, smirking.

I exhale in relief, leaning back against the chair. Last thing I want is for people to be mad at us and – god forbid – poison our food or something.

“That was the censored version,” Ryder finally admits.

I sigh, shaking my head at him. “We must work on your manners, Ryder Preston!”

“How about you let me worry about my manners and you listen to my story?” he suggests bluntly, sticking his tongue out at me.

“Fine,” I huff, taking another bite of the apple.

Ryder smiles down at me, snatches my apple and takes a huge bite out of it.

“No fair! That was my apple!” I mutter.

“Yup. Was is right!” he teases, taking another bite.

“Ryder!” I huff, pushing him hard. “Don’t be a bully! You have an apple on the tray too!”

Kissing my surprised lips, Ryder hands the apple back to me. “I was just testing a theory out,” he murmurs smugly.

“What theory? How long it would take for you to annoy me?”

He rolls his eyes at me before cupping my jaw. “Nope, I wanted to see if the apple you bite is sweeter than a normal apple.”

I blush slightly at that. Isn’t he kinda sweet...ish...for Ryder anyway?

               “And...?” I ask, smiling slightly.

Ryder chuckles, picks up his apple and takes a bite. He makes a face and puts it back down. “Definitely right! Your apple is much sweeter.”

“Then you can have it,” I murmur, exchanging apples.

I take a bite out of his apple, trying to see if he was lying about it being less sweet. He was lying! His apple was way better!

“Silly girl!” he chuckles, snatching this apple out of my grasp too, taking a bite again. “I meant, it’s sweeter because you bit into it!” he informs me huskily.

I blush furiously and drop my gaze as he laughs lowly.

“You’re adorable. I don’t get why I never asked you to be my girlfriend before,” he mumbles, more to himself than me.

“Oh, because you were too busy sleeping with all the hottest girls around maybe?” I tease.

“Not true. I didn’t sleep with you, did I?” he returns, winking at me.

“Not from a lack of trying,” I quip, sticking my tongue out at him.

Insanely fast, he catches my tongue in between his thumb and index finger. “I’m so insanely sorry for all of that, Pip,” he murmurs sincerely.

I slap his hand away, glaring at him. “You were forgiven, till you caught my tongue!”

He nuzzles my neck, melting me. “Am I forgiven now?”

               “Yes,” I sigh.

I feel him smile against my neck before he pulls away. “Where were we?” he asks suddenly.

               “I donno,” I admit.

Ryder cocks his head for a moment before smiling. “Right, I was telling you about my conversation with the managing officer before you so rudely interrupted me-”

               “It was not rude!”

“You’re doing it again, Faye,” he murmurs seriously.

I gesture locking my lips and throwing the key away. He smirks before continuing.

“Right. So I asked him what kind of a camp he was running. I mean, we’ve been here two days, and we’ve done nothing but sit around on the grass and eat. Then he told me why that is. The programs are going on. Only, apparently Logan just didn’t want us to fight anymore. So he figured sending us somewhere together would do the trick. And this was the first place he thought of. He didn’t register us for the activities.”

“Oh...okay,” I shrug, leaning against him.

               “So, a hike?” he repeats.

“Okay. But are you alright? With your leg and all?” I ask hesitantly. I hadn’t been paying much attention to his leg actually. What a suckish girlfriend and it’s only been a day!

“Yeah, fine. We’ll go slow, if you don’t mind? I’m just really bored of staying around here,” he mutters.

“Sure, that sounds like fun,” I agree, getting up.

I hold my hand out for him, he takes it, smiling down at me. He pulls me into his side, and he leads us out onto the grounds.

All of a sudden, he tugs my hand down. He both end up on the grass. He straddles me, smiling at me. “But, before we go hiking, I can think of one good thing of being in this camp, all day long, together...” he trails off, leaning in towards me.
