Becky's POV

Everyone is busy today. I heard there would be a big gathering, though I'm not sure what it's for. I did hear on the news that an eclipse is happening tonight at exactly 11:11 p.m.

My grandmother asked me to help her in the kitchen. She's preparing so many dishes that she needs an extra set of hands. I leave my room and head to the kitchen; it's still early, around 12 p.m.

Everyone seems to have their own task, whether it's decorating, cleaning, or serving. Even though it's early, they're all moving quickly, probably worried the master will be upset if everything isn't done on time.

I help Grandma slice the vegetables she needs for the dishes. After about five hours of cooking, we finally finish. Grandma tells me to rest for a bit and get ready for the party, as everyone is invited. The mansion's doors will open to guests at 8 p.m.

Since we finished by 6 p.m., I have two hours to rest and get ready. I head back to my room, feeling exhausted and a bit sleepy. I lie down on my bed, thinking about how nice it would be to just rest all night and skip the party. But something tells me I might enjoy it, so I decide to take a quick nap before getting ready.

Lost in my thoughts, I drift off, and my nap turns into a deep sleep. I'm awakened by a gentle tap on my shoulder. I open my eyes to see Grandma standing there. She looks adorable, dressed in a floral dress.

But why is she dressed up like that? Is there an occasion I'm missing?

"Hey, darling! You were so tired, you forgot to get ready for the party. It's already started, but you can still go out. So, get up and take a bath—I have a beautiful dress ready for you," she says with a smile.

My eyes widen. Oh no, my nap turned into full sleep!

Grandma leaves the room, saying she'll wait for me outside. She hung the dress in the closet, and I quickly nod before heading to the bathroom.

After a quick shower, I blow-dry my hair and style it. I put on light makeup and the necklace my parents gave me on my last birthday with them. I slip into the dress, a beautiful white gown. I wonder where Grandma found it—it fits me perfectly.

Looking at myself in the mirror, I don't recognize the girl staring back. I don't look like a 17-year-old; I look like a young woman, ready to fall in love. I chuckle at the thought. If my parents were here, they'd probably cry, seeing me all grown up like this.

I put on my shoes and take a deep breath before stepping out of my room.

It's about 10 p.m. now. Everyone is engaged in conversation, but I feel their eyes on me, as if they're seeing me for the first time. Slow music fills the air. The party is beautiful, and everyone seems happy.

Then I see Grandma. I walk over to her.

"Oh, look! I was right—the dress fits you perfectly," she says, beaming. She introduces me to her friends, who keep complimenting me on how lovely I look. I blush, feeling a bit overwhelmed by all the attention. After a while, I excuse myself to get a drink.

I decide to try the wine. I ask the server for a glass, take a sip, and find it delicious! I go to order another, but just as I'm about to drink it, a hand stops me.

"You'll get drunk, little one," a cold voice murmurs in my ear.

I look up, surprised, to see the master standing beside me. She looks... angry? Her eyes seem to have a hint of red.
