I decided to bring her into the city since my business is there, and it's more convenient with her by my side. Who knows what she'll do if I'm not around? I can keep an eye on her when she's with me.
"I told her to wear something long-sleeved, so no one lays eyes on her," I thought. As I drove, I glanced at her occasionally, lost in thought, gazing out the window. She's beautiful, and I still wonder why I'm destined for this little one. But being with her reveals the beauty of her soul – stubborn and naughty, yet captivating.
Did she despise me so much that she even ran away? Vampires die when our mates reject us, cutting ties completely. But I won't let that happen. I'll make this little one fall for me, so she won't dare leave my side.
We arrived at my company, the main one I manage. Its earnings help improve our town. I parked underground, opened the door for her, and led the way. Later, we'd head to the mall, but first, I needed to attend to something in the office.
"Where are we going?" she asked softly.
"I need to fix something. You can play with my phone for now," I replied, handing it over.
Her eyes sparkled as she took the phone. Poor little one doesn't have her own. I'll buy her one later!
"Do you want to study?" I asked, watching her scroll through TikTok.
She nodded determinedly. "Okay, I'll enroll you in the town's school when we head home. But promise me one thing: no escaping or getting involved with others."
She nodded, raised her pinky, and I did the same. It's a promise.
She sat on the sofa while I worked, signing papers and reading documents. By 3 pm, I finished and suggested we head to the mall. She asked to meet her friend in the clothing section, and I agreed.
When she saw her friend, Irin, working in the women's dress section, she hugged her tightly. I felt a pang of jealousy, but my mood lifted when she introduced me as her master.
"I'll buy you clothes while I step outside for a bit," I said.
I visited the Apple Store and purchased the latest iPhone 15 for her. Afterward, I returned to find her trying on dresses.
"You should get that one," I suggested. "It fits you perfectly."
She tried two more dresses before we headed back, as it was getting late. As we bid goodbye to Irin, I instructed her to grab the white paper bag from the back seat.
She opened it, surprised to find the new phone inside. "It's for you," I said with a smile.
The phone has a tracking feature, convenient in case she tries something naughty. "Thank you, Master!" she exclaimed, smiling, and kissed my cheek. I felt her soft lips on my skin and smiled back.
As she busied herself with her new phone, I was glad she liked the gift and felt more comfortable around me.
