Chapter 31 - Face Off

Elle

When I arrived at the event, I saw Gabrielle sitting next to Amethyst. I smiled as I remembered what I told to Gabrielle and I'm glad that he let me do all of these.

Gabrielle was hesitant at first but according to my resources, the agency has been in bankruptcy. So, I wanted to surprises Amethyst by owning the agency she had been working with. And as expected, she threw in to a rage when she found out that I am well and alive anf that Gabrielle is with me especially that her sister is also alive.

It was satisfying to see all her frustration and anger.

***Flashback***

I'd been waiting for Gabrielle for almost 10 minutes now and I'm getting bored dahil hanggang ngayon wala pa rin siya. I was about to go home when he arrived. "Late." I said when he reached where I was sitting.

"Sorry, did I make you wait?" He asksd but I didn't answered.

"Let's make it clear and straightforward."

"I agreed to meet again because we both want to take revenge and have justice on what happened to us because of Amethyst." I said while Gabrielle is just listening to ever word I say. Inabot ko sakaniya ang isang folder na naglalaman ng isang Financial Statement ng agency kung saan nagta-trabaho si Amethyst.

"What's this for?" He asked curiously while he browse the content of the report.

"Elle, what's your plan?" He asked again so I took a deep sigh and I lean forward.

"Save them from bankruptcy and buy it." He's eyes widened when he heard what I said. 

"There would be an upcoming huge event for them, their 20th anniversary but it looks like they will no longer push that due to financial issues. So, I want you to buy their company and push that event through. So, we can execute the plan of exposing Amethyst to all." Detalyado kong wika sakaniya. I saw that he look shocked and amazed by what I said.

"Kapag ba ginawa ko yo'n, you will come back to me?" He asked with an teary eyes. While I'm speaking earlier he was just looking at me, looks like he wanted to hug me.

To be honest, I don't know what is the real answer to Gabrielle's question. Until now, I'm still confused. There's a part of me that wants him back but there's also a part of me that keeps on saying no and that is not the right thing to do.

When I nodded, I saw a smile written in Gabrielle's lips, he stood up and went to gave me a hug. "I will do anything just to win you back, Elle. I will do anything for you." He whispered through my ears.

I heard Amethyst shouted. "This is not true! This is all fake and edited!" Amethyst screamis at them after they watched all the CCTV footages that I've sent to all the guest.

Napalingon ako when I heard Celestea speak. "You tried to kill Ate Elle, you killed Ziggy, Gabrielle's best friend and you tried to kill me not once but twice. Where's the lie, Amethyst?" I heard Celestea speaks again and she's standing behind me so the crowd and all the reporters all turned their attention on her with disbelief and shocked in their eyes.

When I turned to Amethyst. Kita ko sa mukha ni Amethyst ang inis at galit. She flew in to a rage and was about to attack Celestea when I step forward and stand between the two of them then I pushed Amethyst away.

"How dare you act like you are the victim here, all your rages now only proved what kind of person you are." Mariing kong wika kay Amethyst but to my surprise. She smashed the champagne glass behind her and she's quick to get hold of me.

People around us step back as she managed to get behind me and pointed to me the broken glass which can injure and hurt both of us. She's really out of her mind!

"Amethyst, calm down." I heard Gabrielle's attempt to calm Amethyst down but he failed and Amethyst dragged me out of the venue. I saw Gabrielle ran as fast as he could para maabutan niya kami but Amethyst is quick to lock the door at the rooftop and now, we are all alone here.

"Amethyst, you are completely out of your mind!" I shouted at her when she let go of me.

"This is all your fault! Kung hindi ka sana dumating sa buhay ni Gabrielle. Sana masaya na kami ngayon." Mariing wika niya habang nakatutok pa rin 'yung basag na piraso ng Champagne glass sa'kin. Kita ko ang dugong pumapatak sa sahig dahil sa higpit ng magkakahawak ni Amethyst do'n.

"No, ikaw ang naglagay sa sarili mo sa sitwasyon na yan. You ruined yourself!" Mariin kong wika sakaniya. She tries to attack me at nagsimula kaming mag-agawan do'n sa basag na baso hanggang sa mapunta kami sa may dulo ng rooftop.

"Amethyst let go of this." i told Amethyst while we are both holding the glass and I was leaning backwards to the rooftop's railing.

"No, I will kill you! I will kill you para matapos na lahat ng problema ko!" She shouted and keeps on holding the glass while she keeps on pining me against the railings. Konting maling galaw ko lang ay baka mahulog ako rito!

When I managed to pushed her away from me. She tries to attack me again pero nakaiwas ako at nadulas si Amethyst kaya dali dali ko namang nahawakan ang kamay niya pero nahirapan akong iangat siya dahil ang bigat niya!

"I told you to stop! Look what happened!" I shouted at her while trying to lift her up.

"Why are you helping me? Isn't in favor of you if  I die?" She sarcastically said wile still holding her hands

"Stop being so noise at mamaya kana magtaray diyan, hindi ako katulad mong walang konsensya!." I shouted at her.

I was trying to lift her up when someone held my hands and takes it off to Amethyst's. Dahilan para tuluyang mahulog si Amethyst.

When I look at my right side. I saw Celestea!

"Why did you do that!" I screamed at her and look down to see Amethyst who already fell from the ground.

"She deserves it!" She screamed but before I can speak again Gabrielle came. Kasunod niya ang parents niya at ang parents ni Amethyst.

"What happened to my daughter?!" Amethyst Mom screamed and she look down to see Amethyst who already fell from the ground.

"Nadulas siya nung sinubukan niyang itulak si Ate Elle." It was Celestea who speaks.

Para akong napako sa kinatatayuan ko at hindi ko alam kung anong mararamdaman at magiging reaksyon ko. Tinignan ko si Celestea at umiling lang siya sa'kin na para bang sinasabi niya na huwag na kong magsalita.
