Micky's Point of View

"What's problem eight's answer?" Harry asked, erasing his work for the umpteenth time before looking at Nicole's paper.

"Harry, you still haven't figured it out? We're already on problem twenty." I said, smirking. "Why can't you just do the problem right?"

"I'm trying!" He protested. "I'm doing it like how Mrs. Smith said to, but I know the problem's answer isn't right."

Nicole looked at his paper and laughed. "You just need to move the six. You divide it, not multiply it. That's all it is."

"Really? And now, I feel stupid." Harry said with a chuckle, doing the problem again. When he finished it he wrote the answer down and started the next one.

"So how're your dad and Tanya?" I asked, pausing from my work to look at Nicole.

"Oh they're doing great!"She said, smiling. "I really hope that they work out. She's like the mom I've always wanted. They have to get married."

"Have they dropped any hints about that?" Harry asked.

We both looked at him. "You keep working on your homework. No talking until you're done."

He groaned, and started working again. "Fine."

"They haven't yet, but they're perfect for each other."

"Harry?" I asked, looking at him. "Are you done yet? It's been an hour since school got out and we got off the bus. I wanna go into the forest before I need to go home."

"Almost. Just three more problems." He said, looking up.

I frowned playfully. "Why can't you do them faster?"

"Because I don't like Mrs Smith, and that means I don't like her homework for us. I like to have the homework wait."

"That makes absolutely no sense Harry." Nicole said, looking at his paper.

"It does to me. And.... done." He said, putting his paper in his textbook. "Lets go."
