39 - Chill Day

I woke up by the sun shining on my eyes.

I saw that Matt was still asleep. I didn't want him to wake up from the light so I slowly stood up from the bed and closed the curtains.

I laid back in bed and looked at the time.

3 in the afternoon.

Damn I slept long.

11 hours..

Well it's not shocking, Matt and I were exhausted after our amazing date yesterday and we talked all night and went to bed at 5 in the morning.

I wanted to wake Matt but he seemed so peaceful and I know he would've set an alarm if he had planned anything so I just let him sleep.

I carefully stood up from bed and grabbed a little paper.

If you can't find me, I'm in the shower  -June

I put it on his phone so that's the first thing he saw.

I went in the bathroom and grabbed a towel before turning on the water.

I locked the door and got in the shower.

I showered for about an hour and then dried off.

I normally don't shower that long but I just took my time and felt the moment you know.

I put on some random clothes; my sweatpants and Matt's ransom hoodie, one of the many.

I didn't want to dry my hair so I just left it to dry naturally.

I wasn't gonna wear makeup either, since I'm going nowhere.

I just did my skincare, brushed my teeth and brushed my hair.

After I did all of that I unlocked the bathroom and walked back in the hotel bedroom.

I saw Matt laying in bed, on his phone.

He looked up from his phone and smiled.

"Good morning." Matt smiled.

"Good morning. Did you sleep well?" I asked, laying on the bed next to him.

"Yeah." Matt said softly.

"Of course you did. You slept 12 hours." I giggled.

"Did I actually?" He asked, as innocent as possible which made me giggle.

"How long have you been awake?" He asked.

"About an hour and a half." I smiled.

"You could've woke me, you know?" Matt said.

"I know. You just seemed so comfy and peaceful." I said and Matt smiled.

"I love you." Matt whispered softly, putting down his phone and wrapping both of his arms around me.

"I love you too." I smiled, softly pressing my lips on his.

I pulled back and looked in his eyes, smiling and blushing.

He blushed and giggled.

"You're adorable." I giggled, laying my head on his chest.

"You've said that countless amount of times, June." He said softly, giggling a little which made my head move slightly.

I tilted my head up from his chest and looked at him.

"It's true." I chuckled and he sighed.

"Okay, fine. What do you want to do today?" Matt asked.

"I don't know. You can choose." I said.

I always say this. I honestly just don't know what I want to do in that point and time.

"Let's just stay in today. I haven't planned anything." Matt said.

"Yeah. Sounds good." I smiled after nodding.

"What are we going to do tomorrow, our one month?" I asked.

"Well... okay, you can know it's fine. First, we're just gonna chill, maybe go mini golfing if you want." Matt started and I nodded.

"Then, we're gonna come back here, get dressed and wait until 6 and then we're going to a restaurant." Matt continued and I lifted an eyebrow.

"And lastly, I have a surprise for you." Matt finished.

"Sounds really fun." I smiled.

"What surprise?" I asked.

"You can't know, it's a surprise for a reason." Matt teased and I rolled my eyes.

"Okay, fine." I said.

Matt and I talked all day long. I mean, we woke up in the middle of the day so we talked half a day.

We talked, had fun, laughed, all those things.

Then we went outside for a few hours.

"I'm cold." I said, looking at Matt.

"Let's go inside then." Matt said softly and I nodded.

We got up from the garden chairs and went back in the hotel room.

We got in bed and snuggled up.

We watched TikTok for a while until I saw that Matt fell asleep in the reflection of my screen.

I texted the groupchat because I wasn't tired yet and I knew they were still awake.

I put down my phone and got comfy.

After a few minutes I fell asleep.
