**Surprise!!! Hope you like it **

I watched Candy walk away, her hips swaying naturally with each step. I allowed myself to stare at her long legs and the dimples in her back which were flashed by her tight tank top that had ridden up in the truck from her wiggling to the beat of the music. I let a smile slip onto my face as she turned around slightly, sticking her ass out knowingly and winking at me while waving good bye. I shook my head.

I was still amazed how she could be so flippant about males that drooled over her or flirted with her. She wouldn't hesitate to make the guys feel awkward or confused by how forward and bold she would be. The girl would draw a guy in and then laugh at his attempts to get at her. He had never met anyone like her and even though he had heard tons about her and her personality, nothing could have prepared him for how she truly was in person. Everyone had told him she was sexy and wild, but she was so much more.

My smile slipped off my face when I saw Trent open the door and instantly pull Candy to him, pressing his lips firmly against her lips. I started up my engine, the roar startling Trent, and drove away quickly. I didn't have anything against Trent personally, he had actually become a pretty great friend, but I couldn't help the stab of jealousy I felt when I saw the two of them together. Don't get me wrong I knew nothing would ever happen between Candy and I - though my mind would always hope - but it still bothered me to see her so casually intimate with him. Thank god it wasn't intimate intimate, because that would have disturbed me.

Speaking of being uncomfortable about the idea of Candy with Trent, my brother had definitely not liked the idea either. I seriously wanted to know what happened between him and Candy while I was gone. There was this weird feeling in my guy that something had to have happened because usually if they were alone together in the house Candy was in my room and Matt was working in his office, but today they had been side by side.

I had never seen Matt be that comfortable with any of my friends before and then when he asked about who Trent was, I knew my brother was treading a dangerous path - even if he would never admit it. Seeing his face when I told him that Trent was a 'male friend' of Candy's was priceless. Even more so when Candy and I had our little 'moment' of naughty joking. I thought he choked on his tongue he was so appalled.

There was this feeling in my stomach when it came to my brother that made me think he was getting into something that was going to get him in trouble. I knew my brother and when it came to certain things he slipped into messy situations without even meaning to. Shaking my head I decided to think about how many hours of COD I could get in before I collapsed.

----

An hour later, after I did nothing but sit on my lazy ass, Candy called me and said to meet her at her place in ten minutes - also to bring swim trunks. Not really sure what she planned I agreed and went to go pack some stuff. When I came out my brother was walking through the door, his bitch on his arm. Taking note of my evident readiness to leave he gave me a questioning look.

"Going to Candy's." I said simply.

"She's not coming over?"

"No, not today." I noticed his bitch stiffen at my words.

"Oh okay, well you staying over?"

"Probably. I'll be home for dinner with mom and dad."

"Cool, see you tomorrow. Have fun with Candy."

"I will." I said with a smirk, wanting to laugh when I saw the expression that appeared on his face briefly.

Deciding to simply shake my head at him and head out the door, making it to Candy's place in no time. I felt awkward about the idea of knocking on her front door so I just sent her a text saying I was out front. Her only response was 'K don't move' so I stayed comfortably in my truck waiting for her.
