A week.

That's how long it had been since I decided to reinvent myself - or more like embrace the true me I had always been and showing it to the rest of the high school students. If I were to say that making the shift had been fucking harder than shit, that would be a complete lie. Thankfully it was smoother than fuck.

Apparently the reputation I had built up over the years meant that my peers would be completely fine with me changing my lifestyle. I was perfectly acceptable in my loose fitting Halo shirt, ripped blue jeans, a great pair of Chucks, messy hair in a bun, and no makeup at all.

I had already made so many friends by being plain old me and actually earned more respect from more people. It really even expanded my social acquaintances in school. Kids who I guess thought I was inapproachable before happily talk to me about the latest game or whether Halo or COD have better game play. I scoff every time and say COD.

As for Jay and Mr. Hayes... It was safe to say I was avoiding them as much as I could though my two classes I shared with them kept me from being 100% successful.

Tonight would be the first party I'd be attending where I wasn't wearing a sexy outfit and planning to pull crazy shenanigans. For the first time ever I was planning on wearing plain skinny jeans and a comfortable hoodie I had stolen from Tommy's closet with a pair of Uggs.

Tommy, Sam, and I were entering Kent's house and dear lord I don't understand how I could have come to so many of these things. All there were was a ton of drunk idiots and whores gyrating in the wanna be dance floor as well as a ton of alternative kids smoking pot. Oh hear lord I hope I never looked like that. I think to myself, though I'm sure I did. Not that anyone would have noticed since they were all wasted as hell.

I roll my eyes, simply following my brother and Sam over to their group of nerd friends. They were really cool kids, but once I saw the weed come out I quickly made my way toward the kitchen to get some water. Thank god I had been to Kent's long enough to know where the cups were so I could get some tap water since the idea that bottles water would be at a high school party was hilarious. I was mid chug of the water when I saw him come in.

Sneak peek for next chapter, which will actually just be continuing off of this but in Jay's point of view.
Love you all, I'm procrastinating my college homework for you all (not that I mind).
