Chapter Fifteen Teaser

"You can't just keep ignoring me you know." His deep husky voice sent my body into a frenzy.

"Watch me." l snapped, angry at him and the way my body was reacting. When I went to turn and walk away he gripped my wrist. "Let me go."

"No." He said sternly, making my body shiver. "I haven't been able to get what happened between us out of my mind."

"Don't." I whispered, my voice fragile. I didn't want to acknowledge that incident. Jay didn't deserve it.

"I have to!" He forcefully insisted.

''NO you don't!" I yelled back.

"Yes I do!" He yanked me against his body so that we were chest to chest. "You have been the only thing on my mind since then."

"That sounds like a personal issue to me." I replied.

"Cut the crap Candy. We both know that moment held something more."

"No." l lied, my breath barely above a whisper.

"Liar."

"I'm begging you, don't do this to me. Don't do this to Jay." l said, hoping those last words would stop him, but his expression was determined.

"I love Jay but I don't care anymore. I want you Candy."

That was it, I was done for. Those words broke the last of my resolve.

"I'm a shitty person." I muttered under my breath, before crashing my lips against his.
