Monday was here and I could already tell it was going to be one hell of a day. Justin and I had bonded, even more so when we had finally dragged him to the dinner. Tommy and Justin had been just as great friends as Justin and I had been, the only difference was that they didn't end on bad terms. I hadn't completely forgiven Justin but I was giving him the benefit of the doubt, also just enjoying how he used to make me feel. Dinner had been so peaceful which was more shocking to Tommy than to me, since I had been well aware of the utter adoration that our parents felt toward Justin.
On the way home after dropping Tommy off back at Sam's place, Justin had informed me that his parents were making him finish off his Senior year back here at home because of the trouble he got into in Illinois. Unlike some mild casual teenage trouble making, apparently he had been caught with some buddies. All of them were cross-faded and breaking into a high class business establishment just to have some daring fun. Criminal charges were going to be pressed against him since he was eighteen already and doing illegal activities. 'Thankfully' Justin's parents were exceedingly rich, as in richer than the damn president, so they easily made a deal to send Justin to New York to stay out of trouble and that if he accomplished this then he'd stay out of jail.
To say I was speechless was accurate. I honestly had no idea that Justin would have played with fire to that extent. That information had made me feel a lot less terrible about the whole life story I had told him earlier that afternoon, though it made me extremely concerned about him. It only made me want to be there for him to keep him out of trouble and be the boy that I know he still is deep down. Though that trouble making history made his new found swagger and arrogance make more sense. I had suggested he spend the night therefore we could engage in a Supernatural marathon like the old days. My sad attempt to keep him out of the trouble.
Now it was the morning and we were headed to the front office at our school. Justin kept an arm slung snugly over my shoulder, constantly making jokes about everyone staring at us. Tommy and Sam were next to us, talking about the newest Halo game. It was nice and peaceful with us, despite the fact that every nosy twat in our school was whispering and staring at the four of us. I was mid-laugh when I saw Jay and his brother talking right outside the front office, right next to where we needed to go. The moment both men landed their eyes on Justin and I, the look in them was overbearing. They narrowed their eyes, letting the anger, jealousy, confusion, and distrust fully aim toward Justin, who definitely noticed.
"Who are the two very testosterone filled males glaring at me right now?" Justin whispers in my ear, letting his arm slid down to my waist. Dear lord he's gonna cause them a damn heart attack.
"Err... tan bulky one is Jay...the other one..."
"Let me guess, Mr. Hayes, his brother."
"Yep."
"Well, I don't see why you're so enthralled with them." He states, raising a brow arrogantly at them. I could see the fury in the Hayes's eyes as they noticed. "They're average males."
"Don't be such an ass." I tell him with a flippant grin, just as we pass Jay and Matt to enter the office.
"Andi, you know that's just how I am." Justin replies, using his nickname for me once again.
"I know it's not." I insist, glaring playfully.
Justin just shakes his head at me while we obtain his class schedule. I nearly faint when I see that it is identical to mine. For a moment I'm shocked, but then I'm just annoyed. Little bastard used his parents name to bribe the school into giving him the schedule he wanted and since he was over at my house last night I'm sure he snooped enough to find what mine was. Ass.
