Part 11 - war

Astrids POV:

Obviously once we heard what was going on and that Stoick had went to find Y/n and Hiccup me and the rest of the gang also went to find them, or a way to find them anyway.
We had managed to find a dragon hunting ship that worked for Drago and made an ally called Eret and basically long story short we were now on a small island with an ice fort looking thing, fighting against Drago.
There was 100s of 1000s of Viking running into war and both dragons and Viking's were dying all around me. It was hard to see this happening.
"Come on guys we need to help! I'll go find Hiccup and Y/n with Erit and yous go fight!" I said flying off to find them
"Welcome aboard dragon rider," I heard Hiccup beside me
"Uh thanks I guess," Eret replied
"Where have you been!" I said to Hiccup.
He looked up before responding
"Oh you know just catching up with mum,"
I looked up to see a masked woman holding up a staff while standing on the back of a dragon and from behind her a great bewilderbeast rose from the ice
"That's your mother?!" I exclaimed
"Well now you know where I get my dramatic flair"
He said before putting his helmet down and flying off to help everyone.

Y/N POV

I went to help the gang as I seen them flying around blasting people.
" there Amethyst!" I shouted to my dragon as she blew up a few ships
"Good girl well done!" I exclaimed patting her head.
I saw Hiccup talking to Astrid and then also going to help. I made a mental note to ask her how they got here or even knew where to go.
I then saw a net hitting Valka and cloud jumper before they tumbled to the ground. I was going to go help her but I knew she could hold her own and if anything happened Cloudjumper would not hesitate to do what was needed but then Drago came over and started fighting before they stopped for a moment and he started signing his staff around making weird noises. The next thing I know another large bewilderbeast comes out the sea, destroying ships as it does. It has large chains around it so I could only assume this was Dragos doing.
"Oh no Amethyst we need to go help Valka!" I shouted as we dived towards her
Valka hit Drago over the back with her staff but he spun around and knocked her to the ground.
He was about to kill her and we couldn't get there fast enough
"Come on girl please we need to save her! Hiccups just got his mother back this can't happen!" She seemed to understand and dived even quicker towards Valka but when I was almost at the ground Stoick swooped in and saved her. He helped her up and then became fighting Drago as the two bewilderbeasts fought behind them. Me and Amethyst went to go continue helping the others since we knew Valka would be alright.
All of a sudden as I'm flying round to the other side Dragos bewilderbeast kills the other one
"No!" I hear myself shout and everything around me went quiet. Most of the dragons flew over to their new alpha. I had to find Hiccup.
"Now finish her!" I heard Drago telling the alpha to kill Valka. It shot ice at her and she fell as Stoick jumped off Skullcrusher to save her. Digging his axe into the mountain so they didn't hit it.
I saw Hiccup go down and shout stop to Drago. No no no he was going to stay change his mind I had to get down there!
He jumped off Toothless flinging his helmet to the ground. I was too busy watching him to notice the net flying towards me
"No!" I screamed as it hit me and Amethyst knocking us to the ground. I tryed to cut the ropes as I listened to Hiccup and Dragos conversation.
"This is the great dragon master, the son of Stoick the vast!" Drago said,laughing
"What shame he must feel..." he continued
"All of this loss, and for what?" Hiccup started to speak
"To become unstoppable? To rule the world? Dragons, they are kind, amazing creatures that can bring people together," Hiccup said breathing heavily
"Or tear them apart," Drago said taking off his fake arm to show Hiccup the damage dragons could do.
"You see, I know what it is to live in fear. To see my village burned, my family taken. But even as a boy, left with nothing, I vowed to rise above the fear of dragons! And liberate the people of this world!" Drago finished
"Then why a dragon army?" Hiccup questioned
"Well you need dragons to conquer other dragons" Drago said answering his question
"Or maybe you need dragons to conquer people, to control those who follow you and to get rid of those who won't," hiccup replied.
Drago let out a laugh before speaking again
"Clever boy" he said
"The world wants peace! And we have the answer back on Berk" Hiccup responded as Toothless growled at Drago behind him
"Just let me show you-"
"No let me show you!" Drago shouted before shouting for the alpha and telling it to control Toothless. With that he walked away.
"No amethyst we need to save him!" I shouted finally cutting the last rope off us and running towards Hiccup as his dad done the same.
As I was running I saw Toothless start closing in on Hiccup. I wished to the gods my legs would go faster.
"Toothless come on!" I heard Hiccup say as he put his hand out towards his dragon
"What's the matter with you? No no no no no come on"
"What are you doing? Knock it off! Stop snap out of it" he said as Toothless' mouth began lighting up, ready to shoot. I kept running faster than I ever had, the only thing pushing the burning in my leg was my feelings for Hiccup
" come on, come on!" I heard myself say to myself
"Toothless don't!" I heard hiccup shout
"Hiccup!" Me and Stoick said at the same time
"Stop!" Hiccup shouted before turning to see me and his dad running.
I got there first and pushed Hiccup out of the way as Toothless fired
"Y/n no!" I heard Hiccup say.
Then everything went white.
