Amie
I settled into my study routine, hours passing by in a blur. Finally, I took a break, leaning back in my chair with a sigh. My phone beckoned, and I indulged in a scrolling spree. Shockingly, my WhatsApp was flooded with messages from our college group and Amna! Missed calls too! I dove into Amna's chat first.
Her messages were a mix of excitement and concern. "Helluuu!!!!", "Official group ka message dekha??"
(Did you see messages)"Where are you?", and "Call me back!" I couldn't help but grin at her enthusiasm.
Next, I opened the college group chat. The announcement made my heart skip a beat: "Hello dear students... We are organizing a trip for you all! Location and other details will be shared tomorrow in college."
I squealed with delight, dancing in my seat. This trip was going to be epic, especially since it was our last one together!
I quickly called Amna, and we spent the next hour gushing about the trip, our excitement palpable even over the phone.
As the night wore on, my stomach growled, craving something spicy. Ramen, anyone? I crept downstairsx. I was on a mission to satisfy my late-night cravings.
Just as I reached the kitchen, a voice startled me. "Hey!" I turned around, my heart skipping a beat. It was Mahir, his eyes sparkling with amusement.
"What are you doing at this time?" he asked, his eyebrows furrowed in concern.
My mind went blank (why does this always happen?!). "Umm... I'm hungry, so I'm looking for noodles," I stammered, my face flushing.
Mahir chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Okay," he said, his voice low and soothing.
I felt my face heat up, my brain still struggling to form coherent sentences. Why did I always turn into a nervous wreck around him?!

Mahir
I stood beside Amie, mesmerized by her culinary skills. She moved with grace, her hands dancing as she prepared the noodles. I couldn't help but watch her, my eyes glued to her every move.
"Do you like ramen?" she asked, looking up at me with a smile.
"Uh... I never had it," I replied, feeling a bit awkward.
Amie's eyes sparkled with excitement. "Ohh! You should try it now, but it's very spicy, I'm warning you already."
I grinned, feeling a surge of confidence. "You don't know me, I'm good at eating spicy food, you'll see it right now." I winked, trying to sound braver than I felt.
Amie raised an eyebrow, a playful glint in her eye. "Achaa, but it's 3X spicy."
I chuckled, feeling a thrill of excitement. "Areh, do you think I can't handle it?"
Amie's smile grew wider as she walked towards the refrigerator. "Itna confidence, so let's do a challenge, ok..." She pulled out a cold drink and placed it on the counter. "Wait."
I wondered what she was up to, my curiosity piqued. Was she planning to test my spice tolerance? Bring it on, I thought, my heart racing with anticipation.
