Chapter-34 What should we do?

( Hello how are you all Amie and mahir ko bhul toh nahi gye na!??)

I get up and take out my books and go to the terrace. It would be better if I study under the sky in fresh air. I arranged my books on the table and started working on the numericals.

It's so difficult and boring!!

But i had to do it as I have exams in next week. I almost completed my rest of the syllabus but some of these numericals are getting on my nerves. I solved some of them, the cool breeze gently brushed against my face, keeping me focused.

As I delved deeper into the problems, I stumbled upon a particularly challenging one that wasn't covered in my notes.

I worked on it and scratched it, again I tried to solve it. Feeling a mix of frustration and determination, I glanced at my phone screen, 12:30 it's not that late.

I decided to seek help from Mahir. With my phone's flashlight in hand, I made my way to his room. The darkness of the hallway added an eerie atmosphere to the moment.

I stood outside his door and raised the flashlight to my face, casting an eerie glow on my features. I knocked on the door, the sound echoing through the silence of the night.

As Mahir opened the door, he was taken aback by the sudden brightness of the flashlight, illuminating my face like a ghost emerging from the darkness.

"Oh my gosh you scared me amie!!"

His startled expression made me burst into laughter, realizing the unintentional scare I had given him.

"Sorry for the spooky entrance," I chuckled, lowering the flashlight and entering in his room.

As Amie tiptoed into Mahir's room in the dead of night, She needed help with a tricky numerical problem that had been puzzling her for hours. Just as she placed her book on the table, a sudden movement behind her made her gasp, and before she knew it, Mahir's strong arms enveloped around her tiny waist, causing her heart to skip a beat.

Resting his chin on her collarbone and brushing his lips against the bare skin of her neck, her stomach fluttered at his actions. "You know, Amie, wandering into my room at this hour might lead to some unexpected things" he whispered in her ear in his deep voice, teasing her.

"Oh, and what kind of things are we talking about, mahir? I hope they involve solving this tricky numerical problem and nothing more" she managed to say, trying to break free from his embrace. When she felt mahir's arms loosen she swiftly turned herself.

"Who knows, Amie? equations aren't the only things that can be solved in the dark"

His gaze lingering on her lips as he drew her closer, the intensity of the moment causing her cheeks to flush and heart quicken.

"I need to fan myself it's too hot here" amie wonders.

Despite the allure of his proximity, amie mustered the courage to speak up, "No distractions,only study!," Her voice betraying a mix of embarrassment and heat that flooded her senses.

Mahir chuckled softly and just pecked her lips "okay no distractions now" Amie smiled and playfully smacked him on the shoulder.

Mahir starts solving the numerical effortlessly and then he starts explaining it. Amie finds his techniques different and easy to understand.

"He's so intelligent"
"How effortlessly he's solving" Amie wonders.

The problems which was difficult to her now they seemed easy because of him.

"This was so easy" Amie said in excitement.

"Mhm, now solve these" He said writing more numericals in her book.

She nod and start solving it, in few minutes "done" She said.

He analyzed the numericals and said "Good it means all concepts are clear to you"

"Let me give you some more"

And she started working on them, these are more difficult than the previous ones so it was taking time to solve. Amie can feel his heated gaze on her, lift my eyes to look at mahir raised a brow while she gave him a sheepish smile.

"Okay done" Amie said and mahir again analyzed her solved problems.

"Well done let me give you more problems" He said and was about to write when amie started whining.

"Whattt noooo I have solved quite a few problems"

"Oh, sleepy already? Come on, just a few more, you got this!" Mahir said smirking.

"But I can barely keep my eyes open see my eyes how tired they are" Amie said leaning close to him and blinking her eyes.

"Why is she so cute!!!" Mahir thinks.

"Alright, alright, we can stop for tonight. Your well-being is more important. Get some rest" Mahir said immediately softening.

As Mahir saw Amie's tired eyes light up with relief, he couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth towards her.

Mahir couldn't help but feel a rush of emotions as he watched Amie prepare to leave his room for the night, he didn't want to let go of. Just as she was about to step out, she paused, turned around as if she read his thoughts.

"Should I...?" she began, but her words were interrupted as he bent down slightly to her level, their eyes met.

"What are you doing?" she asked, her voice soft yet tinged with curiosity, her gaze locked with his.

In a flirtatious tone, he responded, "What do you want?" His words hung in the air, his eyes flickering between hers and her lips.

Again, he said, "What should we do, Amie?" the question lingered between them their lips mere inches apart.

He was going to kiss her but mahir's eyes widened in surprise, when amie decided to seize the moment. With a surge of courage, she closed the gap between them and boldly pressed her lips against his.

Mahir smirked a little before kissing her back wandering about his little amie's bold move.

His hand found it's way to the small of her back, pulling her closer, deepening the kiss.

Their movements were filled with raw intensity and desire, each touch sending shivers down their spines. As the kiss deepened, Amie felt herself going breathless, completely lost in the moment.

Eventually, they both paused, their lips parting, a shared breathlessness lingering between them.

Amie's heart fluttered as Mahir gently pulled away from their kiss, a playful smile dancing on her lips.

She couldn't help but giggle as he wrapped his arms around her in a cute hug, ruffling her hair affectionately.

Feeling a rush of warmth, Amie found herself lifted in Mahir's strong arms, carried like a princess to the bed. As he lay down beside her, his comforting presence whispered, "Now sleep"

Snuggling into him, she felt a sense of peace wash over her as they both drifted off to sleep, wrapped in each other's embrace.
