Chapter-25 Sprained my foot!

Amie

I and amna leave my room to join everyone in drawing room to discuss about other wedding ceremonies. Preeti bhabi and her parents are also here.

Mahir waved and gestured to sit with him when he noticed me but then I saw advika clinging to him. I ignored him and sat next to bhai. Wedding will be after two weeks. We will take leave from college.

Our parents were discussing about preparations. I held bhabhi's wrist and took her to my brother's room, bhai and amna followed us.

"Look di aiyo! sorry bhabhi it's going to be your room!!" I giggled to which she blushed.

"Hey! She already know his room, she must have came here before right? Miss preeti Or should i say to be Mrs Preeti Ritik Chandna" Amna kept her arm on her shoulder and joined teasing.

"Nahi re maine nahi dekha kabhi" I said.
(No I didn't saw before)

"You weren't at home" Bhai said in no time and bhabi gave him a glare.

"Ahem ahem amie hi nahi thi ya koi nahi tha" Amna said playfully bumping her shoulder into preeti bhabhi's shoulder.
(Only amie was not at home or no one was)

"Hey! enough don't tease my love" bhai said defending bhabhi.

"Ohhh my love...hmm good going bhai" I said fake coughing.

Finally hogya! I was working on this project from past two hours. I let out a yawn and closed my laptop screen. As I'll be busy in upcoming days so it's better to complete work now.

I held the door knob and opened the door revealing advika staring at the direction of mahir's room.

She knocked on my temple, what the hell
"Are you blind? Am I look door to you?" I blurt out rubbing my temple.

"Oh sorry i didn't saw, you opened the door" she said flashing a awkward smile.

"Yeah your eyes were on something else right!"
"Uhh yes on mahir!!" She giggled.

I rolled my eyes and asked her why she came here.
"Um... Is mahir single?"
I can't believe her!

"Nahi uske andar chaar aatmaao ka saaya hai" I said with a fake smile.

"Hey I'm serious please tell me if you know"

"Go and ask him yourself" I said and went downstairs cursing her mentally. Why she's asking me this things can't she ask him directly?

I was about to sit on couch when minal aunt (advika's mom) asked me to make tea for her. I went towards the kitchen, and made tea.

After few moments, I poured the tea in a cup and handed the cup to chachi.
"It's sugar free right?" She asked.
"No I added sugar"
"I drink sugar free tea"

Then why didn't she tell me earlier? It's irritating ughh! Yeh dono ko le jao bhagwaan ji please. I made tea again without sugar and gave it to her.

Because of her I forgot why I came downstairs.

Mahir

I was on my bed scrolling through my gallery when advika knocked on my door "may I come in?" I wish I could say no. She's annoying. I nod and she took a seat on the couch.

Ever since advika came here I noticed that amie is behaving different.

"Mahir!?" advika's voice draws my attention.
"Huh?"

"Do you like someone" she shoots.

Huh what? Why is she asking me this.

"Yes"

"Oh..Who's the lucky girl??" she seemed sad by my yes.

Should I tell her that I like amie? Umm why not maybe she will help me with this.

"Amie"I said in no time her eyes widened.

"Really? And what about her she likes you too??"

"I want to know so badly but i dont know how!"

"I'll help you" she said with a smile. A smile crept on my in no time "and how?"

"We will make her feel jealous"

"And what will happen with that?" I asked wriggling my eyebrows.

"Then she'll realize she has feelings for you, you idiot! Maybe she just hasn't realized yet."

May be she's right I should agree with her. Dimaag toh hai iss ladki main. Suddenly some sound came from outside like something is dropped. We both shared a glance and the next moment we came out to take a look.

My heart clenched after seeing amie writhing in pain. I ran in a flash down to her.

"T-tum thik ho???" I asked flickering my eyes on her top to bottom. She stopped whining and looked at me.

"Haan! ekdam mast ekdam majee mai hu aap bataiye"

"Kya?"

"Can't you see? I sprained my foot kaise thik hogi mai" she shouted.

"How did you fell you idiot" I asked.

"Wait, I will bring the mic, then you can interview me here"

"Oh sorry wait" I said. I held her and was about to lift her when she intercepts.

"Give me your hand only I'll walk by myself"

"Shut up, don't act like it's the first time I'm lifting you" I said and lift her in my arms without letting her speak further. I took her to her room and gently laid on the bed. I checked her foot and there was no injury hash!

"Wait and Don't do anything and keep your foot still okay?" I said and walked out of the room. I went straight to the kitchen and took out some ice from fridge. I wrapped the ice in a cloth and went upstairs without wasting time. I started icing her foot.

"How did you fell?" I asked.

"I stumbled because of my dupatta" she said staring at her foot.

"You should have been careful when I'm not with you"

"Please be careful amie it hurts me too" I said looking into her eyes.
