Amie sat on the couch, her hands cradling her growing belly. Three months pregnant, and already her body was transforming.
Mahir entered the room, a warm smile on his face. "Hey, beautiful. How're you feeling?"
Amie's eyes met his. "Tired, but okay."
Mahir sat beside her, gently massaging her feet. "You're doing great. I'm proud of you."
Amie's eyes closed, bliss washing over her. Mahir's fingers traced her ankle. As he rubbed her feet, Amie's thoughts drifted to their future.
"Mahir?"
"Yes?"
"Are you scared about becoming a dad?"
Mahir's hands paused, his gaze locking onto hers. "Excited, not scared. I'll be here for you and our little one, always."
Amie smiled. Mahir's hands moved from Amie's feet to her belly, his touch gentle.
"Hello my little one" he whispered.
Amie smiled, her heart full. "You're going to be an amazing dad."
Mahir's gaze met hers. "Because I have an amazing partner."
Their lips met in a soft kiss.
"Mahir, have you thought about names?"
Mahir chuckled "I want you to do it."
"Hmm....For a boy, I like Ayan," she said. "And for a girl Aradhya or Mihika maybe."
Mahir 's eyes sparkled. "I love those."
Their conversation flowed, discussing nursery decor, parenting styles, and dreams for their child.

As evening fell, I made Amie 's favourite noodles as she was craving something spicy again. Thank god she didn't ask something weird.
From a few days she has started craving for weird food combinations. Yesterday she was craving chicken nuggets with chocolate.
Who eats such a strange combination? I was worried. I called my mother and told her, and she said it's normal in pregnancy.
I put the noodles in a bowl with a fork and with a tray I went to our room.
I saw amie watching kdrama, her never ending obsession. "Amie itna kdrama dekhoge toh humara baby hindi chod ke korean bolna sikhega" I teased her with a chuckle.
(If you watch so many Kdramas then our baby will learn to speak Korean instead of Hindi)
"Matlab kuch bhi" she glared at me and then noticed the tray.
"I made your favorite romen" I said.
Amie laughed "Mahir it's ramen I have told you so many times and still you say the wrong thing"
"I....I forget it every time" I smiled sheepish.
As I sat beside Amie, I picked up a steaming hot noodle, blowing on it gently to cool it down, my eyes never leaving hers. "Open up," I whispered.
Amie's lips parted, and I fed her the noodle, watching as her eyes sparkled with delight.
"You're spoiling me," she said.
"You deserve to be spoiled. You're carrying our little miracle" I meant every word.
As I continued feeding her, I caught myself opening my mouth in sync with hers, a habitual gesture that made Amie giggle.
