2015 (part 1)

Jungkook started the final year of high school and Namjoon was in his final year of engineering graduation program and pursuing a paid internship at a high profile automobile company. Things going great for Namjoon as he got the internship with his top notch grades in university and a thrashing interview among hundreds of students who applied. He is just waiting for Jungkook's high school graduation after which he is planning to ask him to be his boyfriend and confess all his feelings. For Jungkook, there is a constant occurrence of mental turbulence, he feels heartbroken at times not being 'boyfriend' of the person he loves the most.

Namjoon has been visiting Jungkook almost every month now, sometimes they did get the chance to have their special moment, Namjoon never felt anything off about the other as he would manage to act all romantic with him, while feeling sorrowful due to 'no tag' in their relationship.

"It's his 18th birthday and you're going to attend your classes?"
"It's the 18th, so kind of big deal to his parents. His father planned something fancy in Seoul, he's going to spend the day with his parents."
"So, when are you going to ask him?"
"Soon."
"He's 18 now, bro! What's keeping you to wait? You have been in love with him for like 6-7 years now."
"I am waiting for his graduation, Yoongi. I don't want to burden this relationship thing on him right now."
"So you haven't asked him to be your boyfriend yet, but still made out?" Yoongi's taunting tone was not soft.

"It's not making out, just kiss."
"Did it involve tongue?"
"It did!"
"It's 'making out'! That's what it is called, Joon."
"Fine! But we hardly did it like two or three times."
"I suggest you make him your boyfriend sooner, Joon. As far as I've seen Jungkook, he is a sensitive kid, he might not say anything even if he wants you to ask."

Few moments of contemplation made Namjoon to conclude that Jungkook was too shy whenever they would be close, but he would be fine once Namjoon would take him in his arms.

"I guess you're right!"
"When am I not?" The scoffing Yoongi sounded like a grown up cat to his best friend.
"Yeah, you're always right you!"
"I can sense sarcasm."
"Good for you, anyway, I'm heading to university. Talk to you later, bye." Saying this, Namjoon disconnected the call to get started with his daily schedule.

"Didn't we meet when we were like, 18?"
"I guess we were!"
"Wow! Now our child turns 18! Time really flies fast, Seo."
Him-chan said smiling at Seong when they were setting the table with cake and some decorations at Him-chan's apparent in Seoul. He finds himself closer to Seong now being away than he felt before when they all lived together. The distance might have played the cupid here.

The reflection on the mirror of a young man who just climbed the first step of adulthood, was captured by the front camera of his phone which was immediately shared to a number saved by the name 'Joon❤️'. Jungkook was smiling by himself moving his palm over the branded cotton shirt he was wearing, feeling the soft fabric. It was a gift from Namjoon along with a pair of jeans. It wasn't just some birthday present that he bought from his pocket money, it was bought with his own money that he earned from the internship. That's what makes it more special. Jungkook could feel the touch and warmth of Namjoon in his outfit.

I wish you were with me right now!
Finally, I am 18 now.
Does that mean we can be boyfriends now?
Joon, I want you to kiss me as your boyfriend from now on.
I wish you were listening to me right now!
I want everyone to know about us, then those pervert boys will stop looking at me like an object.

He wiped the little tear drops that fell down his cheeks at the thought of how some people stare at him with filthy eyes. They even used to pass vulgar comments towards him, he was a pure beauty but admiring someone and assaulting verbally are two complete opposite things. He would often respond them back savagely but still end up feeling disgusted. He could never share these with Namjoon as he thought the elder might think of him as some weak teenage kid.
