2018 (part 1)

Happy anniversary, love!
I just want to call you 'love' because I do love you. But do you?
I'm dying to hear those words from you, Joon. Why haven't you said that yet? Do you not love me? Sometimes, when my hardest time hits, I tend to question myself whether this is love for you or attraction? I want the affirmation. I'm sorry for being in too haste in our relationship, but I want us to be a perfect couple.

Covering the nib of the pen with a cap, Jungkook put the diary and the pen in the nightstand drawer. It was around 3 am in the morning as he noticed in his phone. The room was mostly silent except for the light sound of some deep breath coming from the man deep asleep beside him. The blanket fell down a little exposing his shoulders that he quickly covered as the man easily catches cold and pecked on his forehead.

He remembered there was a pain killer strip kept somewhere as he would need it now. His boyfriend was too electrified today as it was their anniversary and went over the board, definitely with Jungkook's consent. The lower portion was paining too much, he doesn't usually meeds medication, but today was difficult.

Not finding the medicine box in the night stand, he got up from the bed dressed in a loose fit pullover which belonged to his boyfriend and a pair of boxers. Ever since their first, Namjoon feels guilty of the pain that he unknowingly caused to his partner. He would always take care of Jungkook each time they have sex cleaning up themselves and the beddings. He loved to dress up his Kookie in his own clothes after that, he would also give massages to ease the pain. Today wasn't any different from their usual routine, but today Jungkook himself assured Namjoon that he was fine and would go to sleep after scrolling through social media, well, he was talking to Namjoon only through his journal.

Jungkook woke up to a soft smooch on his neck which was placed by his one and only. It brought a smile on his face and he ran his fingers through Namjoon's hair.
"The buzz cut looks good on you only, Joon."
"Have you been checking out other guys with this hair cut?" Namjoon asked in a fake angry voice nuzzling in Jungkook's neck.
"I have a huge kid to look at."
"Hey! I'm not a kid!"
"You are a big one."
"Oh really? Then I want to be a grown up man."
"You can't take care of yourself, catch cold so easily, don't bother to eat while at work."
"I have learnt to cook though."
"You cannot survive on noodles and eggs forever. You practically leave on those and protein supplements."
"Just for one more year, after that you will always be there to take care of me and I will take care of you."

A thousand butterflies started flying in Jungkook's tummy suddenly at his boyfriend's words who think of them still being together in the future. He couldn't be happier.
"Do you think of it, Joon?"
"Think of what?" Namjoon was busy leaving delicate kisses along Jungkook's neck and collarbones.
"Us being together, having a future."
Namjoon lifted his head to look at his blushing boyfriend.

"Of course, Kookie. Don't you?"
"I do too, but never wanted to bother you about it."
"Hey hey! Shh!" Namjoon hovered the boy lying next to him and put his index finger on the lips.
"Don't you ever use that word. You would never bother me, I want you to be yourself in front of me, baby. Just say whatever you want to, I'm always there to listen." He kissed on the boy's forehead.
"What if you feel I'm rushing?" Jungkook said in a hoarse voice.
"Then I promise to rush along with you." Kisses placed on Jungkook's eyes that were sending signals to let out waterworks.

Jungkook was feeling euphoric at the care and attention he was getting from the person he wants the most.
"What if you are not ready?"
"I promise to get ready way before you realise that you are." The fluffy cheeks received some kisses too.
"What if you need more time?"
"Time stopped for me the day I found you." The cute pointed nose was not deprived of a kiss either.
"What if you lose interest in me?"
"To let that happen, the entire universe has to be destroyed." It was the turn for Jungkook's chin to receive a kiss.
