Epilogue: One and Only

I started my Wattpad journey on 16/10/2023. It's been two months today since I started writing fanfics and started posting my writing anywhere. By now, I have completed 3 stories, continuing with 3 new stories and deleted 2 stories. 12 very kind people followed me which boosted my confidence as a layman writer. Please accept my apologies for all the grammatical or typing in my stories. I have very few readers, but they are very special to me. You guys have no idea how you have made me feel in my lows. I will be forever grateful to you for that. ❤️💜

From 'that kid' to 'my love', Jungkook' to 'Kookie', 'boyfriend' to 'fiancé', Jungkook became the most valuable treasure for Namjoon. He was his friend to comfort, guardian to take care of, soulmate to understand his feelings without words, lover to love him unconditionally. Namjoon's world revolved mostly around his Kookie.

It has been more than a year since the couple got engaged and today was the most special day of their lives. Although Min-soo and Him-chan were the ones who wanted to pay for everything, but Namjoon and Jungkook politely declined the offer as they wanted to arrange everything on their own. Elegant decoration, lavish feast, designer suits, everything was just too perfect for their special occasion.

Hoseok almost punched Jae-sung when the later claimed to be Jungkook's only best friend. In the competition of 'who's going to be Jungkook's best man', both got disqualified for their behaviour, instead Kyung-mi and Jinah got the positions as bestwomen. Although it was out of the box for girls being in such a masculine role, but Jungkook bent the rule for his special day as both the women were no less than his own sisters.

The situation was not any better at Namjoon's side. Yoongi and Jackson kept using holy words against each other to pull each other down, ultimately getting punched by their partners Seokjin and Mark respectively. Taehyung was enjoying the show with Jimin sitting on his lap as he took the best man's position for granted being Namjoon's only cousin. However, Yoongi, Jackson and Taehyung were collectively selected as best men by Namjoon to put a full stop to their stupid fight.

Jimin, Seokjin and Mark were in charge of Namjoon's styling while Hoseok and Jae-sung were given boring responsibility to greet the guests. Kyung-mi and Jinah rubbed their privileges as best-women on their boyfriends' faces making them now jealous of their own girlfriends. It was a full chaotic wedding, but what anyone would conclude is that how Namjoon and Jungkook were adored by their friends.

"You are looking beautiful, Jungkook. My son couldn't have anyone better than you in his life. Thank you for being there for him." Rika pecked Jungkook's head out of motherly affection she has for the boy.
"Thank you for bringing us together again, eomma." Rika pursed her lips to control herself from getting emotional at the heartfelt name Jungkook just called her by.
Their moment was interrupted when Seong came in to fix Jungkook's suit and guide him to the alter where Him-chan was waiting to walk her son down the alter.

"Don't leave, please! If not for Namjoon, then at least stay for Kook. I know you love him like your child." Seong requested her who now knows about Rika being the biological mother of Namjoon.
"Thanks, Mrs. Jeon! But I don't want to cause any discomfort for Sana and Him-chan by my presence."
"You won't, just stay back, please."

The music started playing. It was the song 'New Day has come' that Jungkook sang for Namjoon years back. Jungkook started walking down the aisle with his arms interlocked with Him-chan and Seong while his soon to be husband was standing at the end of the aisle along with Min-soo and the best men. Kyung-mi and Jinah were in their positions too.
