ROBIN'S BEDROOM
DECEMBER 25TH

"That's it!" Vance stood up, grabbing Bruce's hand and taking him to Robin's bedroom, closing and locking the door behind them. "God, finally."

Bruce sat down on Robin's bed, waiting patiently. "You were saying?"

Vance sat down next to him with the ring box still in his hand. "I didn't exactly prepare a speech for this, so I'm just gonna say whatever is on my mind." Bruce stretched his hand out and held Vance's free one. Vance took a deep breath and started talking. He wasn't the one for corny speeches, and Bruce knew that, but this might've changed his mind.

"I'm not the one for cheesy speeches or anything like that, but I'll do it for you because I know you're a sucker for romance, and I love you. You came into my life and made me and entirely different and better person. You've made me feel things I never thought I'd feel, and I'm so thankful for that. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me and I want a future with you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you, Bruce. So, with this ring I want to promise a future with you, a someday. So, will you marry me in our future, Bruce? Will you promise to stay by my side as long as I stay by yours?"

Bruce had silent tears rolling down his cheeks and a smile from ear to ear plastered on his face. Vance looked at him with a hopeful expression, lifting his hand to gently wipe his tears away with his thumb. "I promise." Bruce choked out. He leaped forward and engulfed Vance in a bear hug, subtly leaving small kisses on his neck. Vance hugged him back, keeping a semi-tight grip on his boyfriend.

When Bruce pulled back, Vance took his left hand and slipped the ring on his ring finger. He lifted his hand to his lips and kissed the back of it, and kissed his ring finger. "Someday." he said quietly.

"Someday." Bruce whispered back.

The two boys heard something fall outside the door, and then heard lots of shushed speaking. Vance stood up and opened the door, seeing Griffin on his back trying his hardest not to laugh, Billy laughing his ass off silently, Gwen giggling quietly, Finney and Robin holding on to each other for dear life trying not to laugh, Penny and Donna doing the same as Finney and Robin, and lastly Molly squeezing her eyes shut with her hand over her mouth trying not to laugh.

They all looked up when they heard the door open and finally burst out in laughter and giggles. Vance looked at them with an unamused look, but he himself was holding back a smile and a laugh. He could hear Bruce behind him giggling quietly. That was when Bruce and Vance burst out laughing too and Vance slid down the doorframe. Bruce fell off the bed and everyone laughed their ass off at that.

"What are we laughing at!?" Gwen choked out between giggles.

"Vance's speech, then Griffin fell, then Vance opened the door and now Bruce fell off the bed!" Billy replied, throwing his head back in absolute hysterical laughter.

After everyone was done laughing, about twenty minutes later, Bruce said he had a gift for Vance and Finney said he had a gift for Robin. Since the gifts were both vehicles, they decided to give them at the same time. When Finney said they had to go outside in the snow, everyone groaned and put on either coats, blankets or fluffy Christmas themed hoodies.

"You're sure they're parked next to each other?" Finney said to Bruce, wrapped in a Christmas blanket. They were both walking ahead of everyone, since they knew the way.
