SOORI

I'm laying in my soft, comfortable bed. I look to my right and see my alarm clock. 06:04 AM. I look at the numbers, my eyes half closed. I slowly sit up. I see my stuffed animal, Pando, laying beside me. He's a panda bear. I've had him since I was two years old. I've kept him ever since, and I don't think I'll ever throw him away.

I remove the silk blanket that I was lying under. I scratch my head as I get up out of bed. I stand at the foot end of my bed and lift up the blanket, trying to make my bed. Before I start getting ready for school, I tuck Pando into bed, as if he's going to sleep.

Before school, I always take a quick shower. It makes me feel fresh. It also wakes me up. I make myself ready for the day. I put on a basic outfit and do my hair and make-up. Before I go downstairs for breakfast, I look at myself in the mirror one more time.

I feel uncomfortable.

I walk back to my closet and put on a loose, long sleeved shirt, making my body less exposed. I walk back to my desk. I open the first drawer and search for my eyebrow gel. I quickly fix up my eyebrows with the gel. I pick up my now filled backpack from the ground and walk downstairs.

"Good morning, Soo." I hear my mom say from the kitchen. "Hey, mom." I say back as I put my backpack on the ground. I go to the kitchen to see both my parents and one of my brothers, Jae. "Morning." Said both Jae and my dad. "Where's San?" I ask, wondering where my other brother is. "He's still in the shower." My mom says as she hands me an apple. I take a bite out of the apple and sit myself down on the kitchen counter. "That's an ugly shirt." Jae says. "Shut up." I tell him.

Jae and San are my older brothers. They're twins. Jae and San are sixteen years old. They can be very nice, but they're usually total dicks. San always drives us to school, since he has his drivers license. San is a little closed off. That's why I like him better. He's very independent and is really calm. He can also be a dick, but a little less than Jae. Jae is the worst. He's very popular at school, that's why San and I are also well known. Jae is part of our school's football team. He's considered their best player. I don't really agree with that, but maybe that's just because I like to see him fail and get angry at me for laughing at him.

I hear footsteps. I look up to see San come into the kitchen. Jae throws a banana at him. San smoothly catches it and starts peeling the banana.

"Don't throw with food!" My mom says annoyed. "What time does school start again?" My dad asks, taking a sip of his coffee. "At eight." Both me and San say. "Finish your fruits, you guys have to get going in 15 minutes." Mom says as she walks out of the kitchen.

"Aren't you hot?" San asks with his mouth full of food. "No, not really." I answer. "Sure, change into a t-shirt or something. It's like a million degrees outside." Jae says, swinging his backpack over his shoulder. "I'm fine. I'm pretty cold, actually."

It's not that hot outside. I think Jae and San are over-exaggerating. I also don't like being too exposed. Makes me feel even more uncomfortable.

"Okay, time to go." San says, taking his car keys out of his pocket. I pick up my bag from the ground and follow my brother outside. "Bye guys!" I hear both my parents say. "Bye!" All of us say back.

"Shotgun!" Jae yells as he runs outside. "You're always in the front!" I say as I open the car door. "Should've been faster."

I sit down in the seat by the right window. I place my bag besides me and buckle my seatbelt.

San starts driving. After 10 minutes, we arrive at school. It's 07:49 AM. I have exactly eleven minutes to go to my locker and find the classroom for my first period: Physics.

I unbuckle my seatbelt and open the car door. Both me and my brothers get out of the car. I spot my friend, Noah. He walks towards us.

"Hey Ri." He goes in for a hug. I wrap my arms around him and give him a short hug.

Noah is one of my close friends. I've known him since I was nine. He has dyed dark blond hair. His facial features are really pretty. He has big, dark eyes, a small nose and full lips. He has a small birthmark right under his eye. That's something I always notice. That little birth mark. Noah's family is really close to mine, that's also how we kind of bonded.

Noah's arm is still around me. "We should go." He says. I nod at him and tell both my brothers goodbye. Noah and I walk into the building together.

Our lockers are both on the second floor. Both Noah and I put our jackets in our lockers and grab all the text- and notebooks we need.

"Physics, right?" I hear Noah ask. "Yup." I answer. I swing my bag over my shoulder and wait for Noah to finish. When he closes his locker, I already start walking to classroom 179p. That's where we usually have physics.

"Aren't you hot?" Noah asks as he appears besides me. "No, I'm okay." I give him a quick smile. We arrive at our classroom. I slowly open the door. I see the kids from our class sitting there.

I also see Lily. Lily is my best friend. Her skin is pale and her hair is a light pink color. She's wearing it half-up half-down today. Her eyes are very dark. She has a soft skin and a bright smile. She's one of the sweetest people I know.

I take a seat besides Lily. Noah sits in front of us with one of our other friends, Sam. His full name is Samuel, but he always thought it didn't suit him. He liked Sam better. His skin is a little darker than Lily's and he has jet black hair. His eyes are so dark, you can barely see his pupils. He's very smart. He always helps us out with homework and studying for tests.

"Hey, Soo." Lily says as she gives me the brightest smile. "Hey." I say as I smile at her. I take my physics book out of my bag lay it down on my desk. Sam turns around. "Hey Soo." He says. "Hi, Sam." I say as I give him a quick handshake.

"Okay class, attention please!" Our teacher interrupts us.

I always try my best focusing in class, writing notes and doing most of my homework. But I can never do it right.
