Hanji slouched at her desk. She was exhausted. Ten more minutes till I can go home! Her thoughts traced back to the Captain. He really shouldn't be driving with that foot...that's when she remembered. They were neighbors! She wouldn't mind driving him home anyway. Happy with her discovery she decided to make her way over to Levi's office for her proposition.

Hanji slipped away from her desk in the Research and Development wing and went to find the Captain's office. She felt like she had seen him a lot that day and hoped she wasn't bothering him too much.

After a few short minutes Hanji found herself in front of Levi's office door. She took a deep breath and knocked. She waited for an answer, but none came. Contemplating if she should just leave or not, Hanji decided to be nosy. She carefully turned the handle on the door and pushed it open. She poked her head inside before her body followed. She held in a laugh at the sight.

There in front of her was the Captain, dead asleep at his desk. He was reclined in his chair with his bandaged leg resting on the top of his desk, a melted bag of ice drooped over his foot. A piece of paper was placed right over his face as if he fell asleep in the middle of studying it. His arms hung lax at his side. Hanji giggled quietly as she took out her phone and snapped a picture.

Should I wake him up? Hanji wondered.

He seemed so peaceful. She heard his quiet breathing from under the paperwork. He'll probably be sore if he stays like this all night Hanji reasoned. She carefully walked up to him.

"Captain?" She whispered. He didn't move.

"Captain Levi!" Hanji tried again, a little louder this time.

WHAM!

Hanji screamed and fell backwards. She must have startled Levi because he pounced out of his chair like a cat. His foot slammed against the floor and the paper that was once on his face silently floated to the ground.

"Owww...FUCK!" Levi yelled.

The panicking girl was about to profusely apologize-

"What the fuck, Hanji!" He said in a quieter voice, but still a very irritated tone.

Hanji gulped. "I-I'm so sorry, Sir!" She nervously laughed and pushed up her glasses.

"What do you think you're laughing about Four-eyes" He sneered.

"Sorry, Sir! You just looked like a frightened cat, Sir!"

Levi scoffed. This girl was sure brave saying whatever dumb shit popped into her brain.

"Why were you sleeping at your desk?"

Levi glared at her, "Didn't sleep last night." He answered plainly.

"Insomnia?" Hanji asked curiously. She took note of the dark circles under his eyes. Levi made no move to answer her, only continued to look very, very unimpressed.

"Sorry, not my business..." Hanji stood up off of the floor. "Speaking of things that aren't my business-"

Levi raised his eyebrows.

"You shouldn't drive with that foot of yours...we're neighbors so I thought I could take you home?" Hanji asked nervously. No way he'd say yes after what just happened.

Levi stared at Hanji, then at his swollen ankle, and then at the clock. "Fine." To say Hanji was surprised was an understatement, but she didn't question him.

Hanji and Levi made their way to the parking lot. Hanji helped Levi walk by linking her arm with his own, holding his shoe in her other hand. That's when she noticed their height difference. His head hardly reached her chin. He's so short she inwardly giggled.
