I had to go through hell each day,
for each time he decides to breathe,
every night, on my bed, I lie awake,
in monsters, my mind was wreathed,
I have to live despising the fact,
my peace is bound to be disrupted,
watch the skies turn gray and black,
and watch the faces of the disgusted.
you burn my tongue, so I can't talk,
and tie my body, so I can't get too far,
you write promises with some chalk,
erased by time, you can't read it anymore,
you watered me up, I sprout in time,
but when I flowered, you stomped on me,
my stem grew weak, I was barely alive,
so hard to get me back on my own feet.
this is the life you take,
watch it choke me to death,
your warmth is fake,
and all the things you said,
I try to make my own paradise,
but you made it into hell,
this home you built out of lies,
you think I must stay and dwell?
