There's pain—as we keep on letting go,
A stinging feeling of losing someone we love most.
The discomfort of having a strong fear of tasting rejection,
And being afflicted by brokenness.
There's a horror—as we absorb and share love,
An emptiness that it takes whenever we feel unessential.
The torture of being envious, and impulsive,
And the punishment for being selfish, and destructive.
There are regrets—as we need to cutoff everything,
Everything that has been tormented by our own doings.
And there are changes—that we need to concede,
For us to live without those torturous sufferings.
Pain, changes, and regrets are inevitable,
There are pain that changes you, and changes that'll make you regret.
But as soon as you learn to realize what makes you the best,
You will never feel that you are the worse.
