Ch2 Wakey Wakey {Luke Castellan x Female Oc} (TW:Minor Swearing)

Luke was expecting to see Charon. He had gold drachmas so he could pay him to take him for his judgement.

But instead of being in the Underworld, he was alive. Luke remembered being in and out of conscious and was confused.

He saw a blurry figure, his left eye stinging from the leaking blood.

A blurry figure with what seemed to be light brown hair and light green orbs that were probably eyes.

He didn't know anyone with those features, and he did the quest alone.

'Who is that' he thought numbly, he felt a spoon enter his mouth.

He felt a liquid flow down his throat, it wasn't ambrosia or nectar since it didn't taste like it.

It wasn't the food of the gods, but it may as well be since it was the most delicious thing he had ever tasted.

He kept blacking out until he finally managed to keep his eyes open for more than a few extra minutes. He saw a ceiling that wasn't familiar.

'Where am I' he thought, he tried to get up but soon was bit with exhaustion and felt weak.

He groaned and layed back down.

"See now baby that's what happens when you try get up after your injured" a strong south accented voice spoke. He looked at the owner of the voice.

It was a girl his age.

Her light brown was tied in a loose, messy bun. Her eyes were the color of lime a beautiful light green.

She was dressed in light blue jeans, white sneakers and a yellow shirt with a white flower design on it.

Her appearance reminded him of the Demeter cabin, but he didn't recognize her. 'She must not be a year rounder" he thought.

"Rest up baby, you need your strength" the girl said. "My name is Julia Oakley, but you sir can call me Juli"

She sat down on the stool next to him, holding a tray with a bowl of soup on it. She grabbed the spoon and scooped up a portion and began to feed him.

Luke didn't like to be babied so he tried to feed himself, but he was denied with a slap to his hand.

Seeing the action, Luke was shocked. "No, no baby, you're my patient and you need rest." Juli replied not even caring about Luke's bafflement expression. "I-" Luke croaked but was cut off with a spoon startling him and almost made him choke.

"Don't worry" she said with a smile " You'll be able to get up in a few hours but if you try to ignore my warning well..." she trailed off before smirking gleefully, then she switched to making a fake pout, her eyes flashed with amusement "You'll end up becoming a wee little lamb instead of a demigod swordsman." A playful smile graced her face.

'Swordsman... My Sword!' he panicked and quickly looked around searching for his weapon, ignoring the pain that came from stretching his body. " Your sword is safe baby relax; I didn't do anything with it other than put it away" she said gently before pushing Luke back down onto his back. " I hate clutter honey and having a shiny sword in my flower shop isn't ideal".

She gave Luke a polite smile before giving another spoonful of the delicious soup. After having his fill in what seemed like forever he fell into the realm of Morpheus. Seeing her patient asleep, Juli got up and quietly left the room.

Luke's Dream

Luke had a weird dream; demigods are known to have strange dreams if not then they won't have any dreams. This time he found himself in a field looking at a tree. He couldn't move at all; he could only stare at the tree. The tree wasn't Thalia's tree, Thalia his best friend and fellow runaway had sacrificed herself so Annabeth and him could live. Zeus, her father, took pity on her and transformed her into a pine tree. The tree he was staring at was not Thalia's tree.

It was an oak tree; the tree was strange as it had golden threads wrapped around itself. Some of the golden thread hanged from the tree like vines. As he studied the tree, he noticed one of the golden threads that was closest to the trunk, was woven through a ring and tied to the ring, suspending it in the air. It left only a three small inches of the thread hanging by itself.

'A wedding ring' he questioned curiously. He was able to look down to the ground and saw a stone that while it seemed out of place it also seemed to belong there. The rock had words carved into it, the words were in Ancient Greek which allowed Luke to read it with ease, it read.

'Our love is eternal even if our lives are not. But no matter where our path takes us, we will be together forever by each other's side just like it had always been.'

'I don't remember any story that included a glowing tree with golden thread on it or a rock with a poem on it' Luke thought. "Find me my love" a voice echoed around him. Luke was confused trying to find the source as much as his stationed body could muster. "Find me my love I know you can do it" the voice said encouragingly.

He didn't recognize the voice. 'Love?' he thought 'I don't even have a girlfriend' her tried to look around but his gaze remained on the tree. He then noticed the ring that was on the golden thread. It was lightly glowing in the same color as the golden thread it was tied to. "I miss you, I waited for you, I love you, come find me" the voice said softly.

'What is this' Luke thought, his frustration rising. His dream soon turned dark, and he felt like he was falling. Then he woke up.

Dream End

Luke was left staring at the ceiling, soaked in cold sweat and panting. Luke huffed and puffed trying to calm down his beating heart. "What was that" he croaked out. He couldn't speak in his dream; it was like dirt was stuck in his throat. He slowly sat up and revaluated himself.

He looked down at his torso and saw a few bandages as well as new scars from where he got clawed by Ladon. He noticed a bowl of water on the stand next to him. He got up with slight shakiness and went towards the bowl. He looked at himself in the water and saw the fresh scar on in his face that went to the bottom of his left eye to his jaw.

"So not only did I not get the damn apple, but I got a scar as a reminder of it" he grumbled and glared at the water. His eyes were dark and his blood boiling. Dark thoughts had begun to rear their ugly head and his face scrunched in rage. His knuckles turned white and began to shake.

"Careful now, if I remember correctly. The last time a guy looked at his reflection in water he wasted away and possibly turned into one of the flowers I sell" Juli said notifying Luke of her presence. She was wearing something different from the last time he remembered. She still had her hair in a loose bun but now she wore a white and pink floral sundress.

"So baby, are you gonna to tell me your name?" she said with a smile. Luke's mood was still sour and in his blind rage, he snapped at her "No" he glared harshly. That was a mistake. Juli quirked a brow "Oh?' she said drawly "Well first off baby, your gonna can that attitude before I take your sword and make a brand-new hole in your ass."

She had begun walking towards Luke and he unconsciously stiffen as if he had been cornered. "I've been driving all over town getting the necessities to heal you as well as getting ingredients to make a home cooked meal for your ass. Now since you decided to give the person who took the time out of her day and night to heal you out of the kindness of her heart. I'm now gonna put you to work after you're all healed up now, you hear?" She looked at him straight in the eye with a smile.

Luke's eyes turned wide as plates. For some reason, he unknowingly sealed his fate and later, he wouldn't regret it.
