Sammy was not an Apollo camper. But he was a medic. He liked being a healer.

And contrary to popular belief, he wasn't weak. The medics of Camp Half-Blood had combat training like every camper.

There is no such thing as a weak camper. If you were, then that met that you didn't make it to Camp Half-Blood.

Yes, it was possible to not be the absolute best of the best. But every one could hold their own.

Sammy was a minor god kid. Another kid cramped into Cabin Eleven. He was the son of Aristaeus, in short, the god of beekeepers.

He had never met his father like all the other kids. But it wasn't uncommon. He didn't mind who his father was.

Recently, he was tasked with taking care of the new camper. The camper who defeated the Minotaur.

When the camper was placed on the medical bed and Sammy saw his patient's condition. He was immediately flooded with pity and sympathy.

The new camper was in rough shape and was making it worse by his movement. The boy looked like he had been caught in a hurricane.

So, Sammy did what he was tasked and cleaned him up. Sammy sat on the stool that was pulled next to the bed.

He gave the boy an extra shirt, it wasn't the camp shirt, and took off his shoes and pants. Leaving the boy in his boxers and the fresh shirt.

He used a soapy cloth to scrape off the mud and dirt off the boy's skin. He even decided to clean the boy's hair as much as he could with a wet towel.

What? Sammy was a bit of a clean freak. His patient was still half-human! He deserves to at least be clean!

Oh, and bacteria would be bad for any wounds he had. Luckily, the boy only had some minor scraps.

From what Chiron told Sammy. The boy had collapsed from exhaustion. Oh, and his name was Percy Jackson.

As Sammy finished cleaning the mud off the boy's shoes. The ambrosia mixture was done.

It was Sammy's special concoction. It was pudding. Now, he was spoon feeding the boy bit by bit with a spoon.

It was a special recipe and it was new. It was ambrosia, well, a small bit. Sammy often added nectar or ambrosia into food.

It was a small portion of it, so Sammy could give his patient two servings of the pudding without the boy burning into ashes.

Most of the time, medics were tasked with giving just ambrosia. But while demigods could consume ambrosia and nectar. Too much could cause someone to catch on fire or explode.

So Sammy made his version of Ambrosia. It was still called Ambrosia, even if it was just a small bit of it.

But Sammy's Ambrosia helped with long term care and nursing. If a patient was critically injured, then they would receive ambrosia in square form.

Ambrosia squares had a higher portion of godly essence than the ambrosia pudding, so it was handled carefully.

Currently, the ambrosia pudding was different. Since Sammy was trying a new flavor. This time, the flavor was buttered popcorn.

Or, at least it was supposed to be. Sammy thought it tasted like it. But he wasn't sure if it tasted different to another person.

He hoped his patient didn't mind being the first taste tester of the new flavor. Sammy lightly scraped off the falling pudding off the boy's chin.
