[Male Oc X Batfam]
[Chapter Two]
[Gotham City Batcave 1:45am]
Red Robin was compiling all his research when the Bat computer lit up.
"Hey! I've got a mutilated corpse over here in crime alley." Red Hood's voice came through the call.
"How bad is it?" Red Robin asked.
"Nineteen laceration in total proably from being tied. Eight stab words all over the chest, killing blow was straight through the heart. Someone had some serious anger issues." he said.
"It almost sounds like you if you used your guns." Red Robin smirked.
"You're right it does, only thing is you're not here on the table replacement." Red Hood snarked.
"Table?" Red Robin ignored the comment.
"Yeah, the body is on a steel table in the middle of a hidden room. There's a lot of blood, so this might just be named Red Room." Red Hood said blankly.
"Well let's get to work then." Red Robin said as he got ready to make a file on this case.
[3 DAYS LATER]
[Gotham City Batcave 10:36pm]
'Well, this narrows down a few things' Red Robin thought.
The body belong to a man named Deiby Barge.
He was a 26-year-old man living a few miles from the room. According to many sources, Deiby was a world class jerk.
He was described as annoying, impulsive, rude, nosy and inconsiderate.
Due to this, many didn't care he died even if it was brutally. Some did show fear but only because they were worried about themselves.
The murder's DNA wasn't found anywhere. What was concerning was whose DNA was there.
In the mix of Deiby's blood there was dried blood near him. When tested the blood belong to Deryn.
Now things were getting serious, they had a serial killer on the loose.
To his surprise he got more info about Deryn from the demon spawn of the Wayne household.
[Gotham City Wayne Manor 10:48pm]
Damian didn't have an opinion of Deryn.
He had done his research of his classmates long ago.
Deryn wasn't any different, His family status was like minor nobles.
They could be at parties, but not have any influence.
He went to Gotham Academy with Damian like the other heirs and heiresses of Gotham. Deryn wasn't like the noisy heirs that flocked Damian.
He never attempted to network with Damian like the others.
From his memory, Deryn had dark brown hair that could have been black.
His eyes were navy blue and always looked like he was lost in his own world.
His pale skin was probaly due to the lack of vitamin D, Deryn wasn't one to partake in outdoor activites.
Damian never saw any acheivements in his life in his research.
He did have Cogential Insensivity to pain or CIP. Damian knew that meant Deryn could not feel pain which explained his absence in most athlectics.
He didn't have many interactions with Deryn.
Deryn was sometimes tasked with giving missing assignments to him when he missed school-Doing a mission as Robin-.
The interactions would happen as often as a solar eclipse, they would exchange few words then walk away.
He did share a class with him, but you don't speak in art class, you were meant to focus on your artwork.
That sums up everything he remebered of his class mate. He will admit he didn't realize his disappearence.
Deryn dissappeared on November 18th, Wednesday.
From his memory it was normal.
The small amount of trees in Gotham turned a multitude of colors. The sun barely peaked out from behind the gloomy clouds.
The only light in the dark city were the small business that opened when dawn came.
Damian went to school like normal then left and came home. While Damian's day hadn't gone wrong.
Deryn's day had gone off the tracks, and not in a good way.
[Gotham City Batcave 10:51pm]
Tim Drake now had more information on Deryn Nash. Which did give more confusion.
If it weren't for Damian's memory, he would have come up with nothing.
It did bring some worry, if his blood was in that room, it meant he was on that table.
The thought pulled his heart strings.
If that truly happened, then the least he could do was find his body.
Deryn's blood was cleaned through the room.
Deiby's blood that was everywhere was about 1/2 gallon of blood. Deryn's blood was only 1/8 teaspoon of the mess.
He scoured the warehouse for any blood samples of Deryn.
He didn't find any blood, but he did find something worse.
[Gotham City Crime Alley 11:07pm]
Red Robin found car tracks leading out of crime alley. He hopped on his motorcycle and drove through the harsh night.
The tracks disappeared a few times, but his perseverance helped him keep his eyes on the trail.
The trail led to the outskirts of Gotham, where the eerie trees lived. Bare of any color unlike the vibrant plants in Poison Ivy's Greenhouse.
The cold wind blew across Red Robin's face as he trekked through the forest, abandoning his motorcycle to continue his mission.
Red Robin pulled out a flashlight from his utility belt. He lit the way of his path before spotting a trail of footprints before finding a stop to the prints.
Red Robin had found a ditch where a body should've been, but there wasn't.
In fact, it looks like the body was dragged out, only thing was it wasn't the same person who brought the body there.
