Later that night, after we picked Munie up from the daycare and put him to sleep, Anna agreed to take care of him tonight for us so we could head out to celebrate. Jungkook insists on going somewhere a little fancy, and I don't argue. Honestly...I like to think I deserve this moment. It's just us and our friends, dressed up for the night, and for a few hours, we leave the weight of our secret lives behind. There are no lies to spin, no pretending for anyone else. It's just us.

As we walk along the bustling streets of Seoul towards the restaurant we agreed to gather for our celebration, laughing and talking about everything and nothing, I can't help but feel that maybe, just maybe, things are going to be okay. The future still feels kinda uncertain with Munie and everything, but tonight, I am happy. The world suddenly feels full of possibilities, and for the first time in a long time, I feel like I am exactly where I am supposed to be.

Finally, after a few minutes of walking, We arrive at the restaurant, a wave of warmth and laughter greeting me. The air smells of garlic and spices, the clinking of glasses blending harmoniously with the soft strains of jazz. Tonight isn't just mine to celebrate—it's ours. Friends who carry me, each in their own way, stand around the large, elegantly set table, their faces glowing with pride and excitement. I am here today, i was able to achieve this due to my own effort, true, but it was also due to their unwavering support of my dream.

Instead of only a celebration for me, I think tonight is a gathering of the people who make my life vibrant, chaotic, and real. The people who make the uncertainty of the future less daunting.

I'm surprised to see that almost everyone is already inside. Namjoon is the first to greet me, his deep dimpled smile warm as ever. "The fashion queen of the hour has arrived," he says, stepping forward to give me a brief but heartfelt hug. "How does it feel to have the world at your feet?"

"Terrifying," I admit with a laugh going along his joke, I pull back to find his eyes sparkling with amusement. "But isn't exactly like that...you know...the feeling that maybe things will go forward from this is kind of amazing. Not gonna lie."

Taehyung saunters over next, holding two champagne flutes, his signature boxy grin lighting up his face. "We are drinking to the Y/n era tonight. No arguments."

"I'd expect nothing less," I say shaking my head, accepting the glass and clinking it against his with a soft laugh. His shirt is slightly wrinkled in that endearing, careless way of his, but his charm makes it work effortlessly.

Yugyeom and Haewon are already seated, their conversation animated. Haewon gestures wildly as Yugyeom shakes his head, laughing. "Don't let him convince you he's an expert on runway fashion," Haewon calls out as I approach. "He couldn't tell Ghanel from H&N."

Yugyeom shoots her a mock glare. "Ignore her. I'm more of a streetwear guy anyway."

"I'll keep that in mind if I'm ever in need of styling advice," I say, grinning at their antics.

"Honestly, though. Why do I need to know about the fashion stuff? I just came for the food," Yugyeom jokes, leaning back in his chair with an exaggerated sigh of contentment. His easy smile betrays the fondness in his tone. "But if we're celebrating, I'm glad it's your entry to the world of glamorous celebrities and expensive clothing, Y/n."

"Speak for yourself," Taehyung chimes in, his deep baritone layered with mock seriousness. "I came mostly for the champagne. But also to celebrate Y/n here. Congratulations, Y/n. Truly."

The room erupts in laughter. I feel myself relax, leaning into the warmth of my friends' company. My gaze sweeps across the table, lingering on each of them in turn—the vibrant joy in Jungkook's eyes and steady presence beside me, Namjoon's quiet pride, Taehyung's playful grin, Haewon's conspiratorial smirk, Yugyeom's effortless charm. There is just someone missing, though...
